C&D winner. Creditable fourth of 9 in handicap (9/1) at this course (5f) 42 days ago. This 9-y-o is on a winning mark and should make his presence felt.
C&D winner. Respectable third of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f, 7/2) 21 days ago, left poorly placed. 1 lb lower now and bold show could be on the way.
First run since leaving Jack W. Davison when springing a surprise (sent off at 40/1) in a 9-runner handicap at Southwell (6.1f) 55 days ago, helped by being held up in strongly-run race. Nudged up just 2 lb and, though not the most consistent, he has to enter calculations.
Three wins from 22 runs last year. 18/1, tenth of 12 in handicap at Southwell (6.1f) 19 days ago. Needs to bounce back but, on the upside, he is edging back down the weights and the ability is certainly there if the mood takes.
Course winner. Twelfth of 13 in handicap (33/1) at Doncaster (5f, good). Off 128 days and it's easy enough to look elsewhere.
C&D winner. 11/2, last of 6 in handicap at Southwell (5f) 3 days ago. Back up in trip and hopes pinned on the first-time visor helping to spark a return to form.
Thirty-four runs since last win in 2023. Creditable third of 8 in handicap at Lingfield (6f, AW, 9/4) 13 days ago. Evidently not as good as he once was but present mark reflects that and he should be in the mix.

Forecasts
Betsen (5/2), Silky Wilkie (3/1), Badri (4/1), Coachello (9/2), Aberama Gold (8/1), Northern Spirit (9/1), The Bell Conductor (25/1)
COACHELLO performed with credit when third back from a three-month break at Wolverhampton three weeks ago and, likely to be sharper, he could be the answer to this rather trappy-looking handicap. Having also shaped well on his return from a short break last time, Silky Wilkie is next on the list ahead of Badri and Betsen, while Aberama Gold would also have a chance if on a going day.
- Coachello9/2
- Silky Wilkie3/1
- Badri4/1
