Useful gelding. C&D winner. 33/1, showed plenty to work on when fourth of 22 in novice hurdle at Leopardstown (16f, good) on NH debut 21 days ago. Respected back on Flat.

Useful colt. Won 13-runner handicap (3/1) at this C&D 49 days ago, suited by emphasis on speed. Still unexposed and looks the one to beat.

Fairly useful gelding. 12/1, bit below form eighth of 13 in handicap hurdle at Thurles (16f, good to soft) 50 days ago. Didn't fire on sole Flat outing last time and not in best form over hurdles, so others preferred.

Fairly useful performer for Charlie Johnston but down the field both starts for this yard since returning from an 8-month absence.

Verdict

BRYANT is an improving young stayer and he can follow up November's C&D handicap success at the chief expense of stablemate Dallas Star, who returns to the track for the first time since the Irish St Leger. Tyson Fury had been off for some time before returning in December but confirmed he retains all ability when a promising fourth on hurdles debut and can complete the placings.
