Jackomy³⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 12-0| J: K Brogan| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 100

40/1

Fell when clear at the last on sole start in points during the spring. Brought along steadily all three starts over hurdles so far and he can take a step forward now switched to handicaps.

Form: F-960

Mistress Emma⁵²

Age: 8| Weight: 12-0| J: Mr Daniel Williams⁽⁷⁾| T: N J Henderson| OR: 100

33/1

Won a Worcester bumper on debut in June 2022. Showed she retains ability after a long absence when placed in maiden/novice hurdles last winter but well beaten in a pair of handicaps in November. Needs to leave that form well behind.

Form: 1/23-79

Ugo Bingo^p,t²⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 12-0| J: Brendan Powell| T: J Tizzard| OR: 100| BF| CD

11/2

C&D winner who had cheekpieces on for 1st time when a solid fourth of 12 in handicap hurdle back over C&D (good to soft) 20 days ago. Firmly in the picture off a 2 lb lower mark.

Form: 424-254

Run Away Joe²⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 12-0| J: Tom Broughton⁽⁵⁾| T: F O'Brien| OR: 100

80/1

Placed both starts in Irish points. Has cut little ice in 3 runs over hurdles since and needs this switch to handicaps to spark major progress.

Form: 32-4U90

Morning Mayhem²⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Kielan Woods| T: Nick Scholfield| OR: 98| BF

15/8

Got off the mark in 2m handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter in December. Prominent when brought down 3 out at Fontwell (19.1f, good to soft) 20 days ago so can't be dismissed.

Form: 09-8P1B

Western Soldier⁴²

Age: 8| Weight: 11-10| J: Callum Pritchard⁽³⁾| T: J W Mullins| OR: 96| BF| CD

10/1

Useful on Flat earlier in career. Capitalised on a falling mark to score over C&D in November but too free under an inexperienced rider when a remote second of 3 here last time. Should be seen to better effect now.

Form: 7/P2-412

No Guarantee^t,v²⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: James Turner⁽⁵⁾| T: A Gibbons| OR: 91

16/1

Much improved of late and bids for a hat-trick after 2m victories at Ludlow and Hereford. Had something left in the tank on latter occasion so not taken lightly despite an 8 lb weights hike.

Form: 638911

St Lukes Chelsea^h³⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-3| J: Harry Kimber| T: R Walford| OR: 89

10/1

Remains a maiden but he comes here in good nick, fifth of 13 in handicap hurdle at Taunton (16.5f, good) 35 days ago. Can make his presence felt off an easing mark.

Form: 29-U455

Postponed Legacy^p¹⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: James Best| T: M Keighley| OR: 88

11/2

Improved model following a break, successful in 2m handicaps at Doncaster and Uttoxeter. HIked up 10 lb but impressed on latter occasion 15 days ago and holds excellent claims.

Form: 345911

Just Aidan⁴²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: S Bowen| T: H Dickin| OR: 86| CD

5/1

C&D winner but he looked rusty after 8 months off when pulled up in handicap hurdle at Leicester (15.5f, heavy) 42 days ago. Can take a step forward now.

Form: 73116-P

Mr Zee^p⁴²

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: Harry Reed| T: M Blake| OR: 74

14/1

Experienced handicap hurdler whose form has dipped since winning in March, a never-dangerous fourth of 7 at Leicester 42 days ago. Others appeal more despite a slipping mark.

Form: 313-774

Freddie Fleetfoot³⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 10-2| J: Sean Houlihan| T: C J Gray| OR: 73

12/1

Remains a maiden after 16 runs and he came in a below-form eighth of 13 in handicap hurdle at Taunton (16.5f, good) 35 days ago. Needs to take a step forward.

Form: 024/U48

Talap²⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: Jack Tudor| T: G F Edwards| OR: 71

40/1

A fair 1m4f Flat winner for David Pipe but little impact over hurdles for current yard, eighth of 12 over C&D 20 days ago. 3 lb out of the handicap here too.

Form: P9/3-37P

Forecasts

Morning Mayhem (15/8), Just Aidan (5/1), Postponed Legacy (11/2), Ugo Bingo (11/2), Western Soldier (10/1), St Lukes Chelsea (10/1), Freddie Fleetfoot (12/1), Mr Zee (14/1), No Guarantee (16/1), Mistress Emma (33/1), Jackomy (40/1), Talap (40/1), Run Away Joe (80/1)

POSTPONED LEGACY arrives on the up so is fancied to defy a 10 lb weights rise for his ready Uttoxeter victory and complete a hat-trick. C&D scorer Ugo Bingo rates the main danger having been given a reprise by the official assessor, although No Guarantee seems sure to be thereabouts in his own hat-trick attempt. Jackomy, St Lukes Chelsea and Western Soldier all need factoring in too.
