Horse A-Z
Coastal Path gelding who got off the mark at third attempt in points and he put his experience to good use to follow up in 7-runner bumper at Musselburgh (15.5f) 24 days ago, asserting gradually. Certainly respected under a penalty.

5-y-o who showed the benefit of his initial experience and found his stamina coming to the fore when landing an 11-runner C&D bumper 5 weeks ago, rallying to lead again final 1f and well on top towards finish. Still displayed greenness then and he could yet have more to offer.

Dansant gelding who would likely have benefited from a stronger pace given how he shaped when fourth of 6 in bumper (11/1) at Sedgefield (16.8f, soft) on NH debut 41 days ago, plugging on final 1f. Feasible to think he can do better.

€58,000 3-y-o, Walk In The Park gelding. Closely related to 2 winners, including bumper winner Castletown Quary, and half-brother to 3 winners, including dual bumper winner Illwalktheline. Third in Irish point (Nov 2025) and yard boast a healthy 33% strike rate in this sphere so far this term.

Yeats gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner/fair hurdler Lunar Chief and bumper winner Sagonige. Dam (h92) bumper winner. Undergone wind surgery ahead of debut and this 6-y-o is best guided by the market.

Pedigree offers some hope but went with little promise despite attracting support when last in a 7-runner bumper at Hexham on debut in March. Sent off 20/1 9 months later and more like it when third at Newcastle 5 weeks ago and likely he can build on that.

Dartmouth gelding. Dam (h86) maiden hurdler (stayed 2½m). Sent off at 80/1, yet he did show a bit amidst clear signs of inexperience when 13¾ lengths sixth of 11 to Ronnie Russet in bumper at this C&D (good to soft) on NH debut 35 days ago, plugging on again final 1f. May build on that.

£80,000 4-y-o, Poet's Word gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to dam of useful jumpers Snake Roll (stayed 2½m) and El Elefante (winning chaser up to 2¾m). Successful on last of 3 starts in Irish points (Nov 2). One to monitor closely in the betting for clues on bumper debut.

£140,000 4-y-o, Berkshire filly. Runner-up sole start in Irish points in March and definite promise amidst inexperience when third of 7 in bumper at Catterick (15.7f) 4 weeks ago. Likely she can build on that effort and one for the shortlist.

Telescope mare. Dam (b73), lightly raced in bumpers, half-sister to useful hurdler/very smart chaser (stayed 21f) Village Vic. Won 2 of 3 starts in points, including last time (May 2025) and likely the market can point the way on Rules bow.

Forecasts

Kilaro (2/1), Cowboy Casanova (4/1), Diamond White (9/2), Ronnie Russet (6/1), Finbarr (6/1), Valtteri Its James (8/1), Red Dart (8/1), Royal Maggs (28/1), Last Man Standing (28/1), Highland Laddie (33/1), Caspada (40/1), Master Jack (150/1), Mhordart (150/1), Credit Union (250/1), Khaleesi Queen (300/1), Maggi Breeze (500/1)

Verdict

There was definite promise to glean from DIAMOND WHITE's debut third in a Catterick bumper 4 weeks back, not least given she displayed clear signs of inexperience on that occasion and, appealing as a likely improver, she may be up to taking full advantage of the weight she receives from most of her rivals and making it second time lucky. Penalised pair Ronnie Russet and Kilaro are other likely protagonists, whilst Cowboy Casanova and Valtteri Its James are Rules newcomers to note.
