Returned to form from out of the blue for his current yard when landing handicap chase at Worcester (20f) in September. However, produced performances far more in keeping with his recent record when pulled up at Chepstow and Aintree since. Others much preferred.

Off 7 months before landing 9-runner handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot (16.7f) in October. Looked badly in need of the experience when last of 3 switched to fences at Warwick (2m) following month. Could do better here.

Low-mileage sort who has shaped well after 8 months off when in the frame in 2m4f handicap hurdles at Uttoxeter and Sandown this winter. Goes chasing now with cheekpieces added and must enter calculations.

Successful in points and landed novice at Carlisle in October 2023 on hurdling bow. Seamless transition to chasing/handicapping after 15 months off when successful at Bangor in February and though off since, he's clearly very capable fresh.

Likeable type who ended last term in fine form and resumed from 8 months off with victory in 10-runner handicap chase over C&D (soft) 47 days ago. Up 4 lb but he can do better still and is a likely player.

Scored over fences at Market Rasen last Boxing Day and shaped well on his comeback run when fourth of 9 in handicap over C&D (good to soft) 53 days ago, doing too much too soon. Can give a good account now off a 2 lb lower mark.

Runner-up in an Irish point and he got off the mark in first-time cheekpieces in 9-runner handicap chase at Ludlow (20f, soft) 23 days ago. Needs considering despite a 2 lb weights rise with headgear again sported.

Low-mileage 9-y-o but looked better than ever when scoring at Wincanton (2m4f) in December. Below-par fifth of 7 there upped to 25f since but no surprise to see him bounce back here.

A three-time winner (around 2m4f) over hurdles last term but yet to take to fences, only fifth of 8 in handicap chase at Taunton (23f, good to firm) 43 days ago. Has a bit to prove now.

C&D winner who posted a respectable third of 7 in handicap chase at Wincanton (20.2f, soft) 24 days ago. One for the shortlist off a slipping mark.

This is wide open and it could pay to side with Ben Clarke's likeable GOOD FRIDAY FRIDAY to defy a 4 lb weights rise for his reappearance C&D victory and make it four wins in his last five starts. Followcato heads the list of dangers on the back of his breakthrough Ludlow success, although Pilsdon Pen is weighted to go well and both Big City Roller and Into The Park command plenty of respect too.
