C&D winner in February and has underlined his liking for Catterick with 3 Flat wins here since. Has continued in good heart at this course back hurdling last 2 starts, fifth of 12 in amateurs' handicap (good) 16 days ago, and he could be in the mix once more.
After 5 months off, proved better than ever when making all at Plumpton in September and had excuses latest outing, unable to lead when seventh of 8 at Huntingdon (25f, soft) 40 days ago. More needed if he's to pull off his usual tactics in this bigger-field scenario.
Winner of a match over hurdles last season, but completed only once from 4 subsequent outings. After 8 months off ahead of first run since leaving Rebecca Menzies, finished well held in handicap at Sedgefield (21.1f, soft) on chase debut 27 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Having dropped a long way in the weights, got back on track when fifth of 15 at Carlisle (20f) on return. However, wasn't in the same form next time, before failing to get home back up in trip when fourth of 7 at Musselburgh (23.8f, good to soft) 24 days ago.
Fared much better than previously when third at Hereford (25.5f) on handicap debut in October and has shaped as if still in good form both starts since, not quite seeing his race out when mid-field at Taunton (23.9f, good) 3 weeks ago. Could still have more to offer.
In first-time cheekpieces, left previous handicap efforts behind when opening account at Hexham (23.3f) last November. Hasn't gone on from that since, though, offering little in 2 starts back this season including over C&D 16 days ago.
Form tailed off for Emma Lavelle last season, but making fourth start for current connections he took a step back in the right direction when third in amateurs' handicap at this C&D (good) 16 days ago. Can make his presence felt from 15 lb below last winning mark.
Shaped better than on first 2 starts in handicaps when fourth of 9 at Market Rasen (23.1f) in June, but after 6 months off he ran no sort of race when well held at Newcastle (23.7f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Has something to find.
Following a wind op, took advantage of reduced mark when opening account at Southwell (24.3f) in April. Has returned to a similar level last 3 starts, despite needing a stiffer test when fourth of 7 at Market Rasen (23.1f, soft) last time, so he's a major player back up in trip.
Off the mark in good style in a Market Rasen handicap (20.6f) in June and made the frame 3 of next 4 starts. However, below-par effort when well beaten back at Market Rasen (good to soft) in November, so bounce back called for as he goes up in distance.
Positive start for current yard switched to handicaps, runner-up at Perth in September and Sedgefield in November. Found the test too much when fifth of 10 at Ayr (24.3f, heavy) last time, so she could fare better back under less testing conditions with cheekpieces added.
Successful twice in handicap hurdles at Hexham back in 2022, but without a win since campaigned mainly over fences. In first-time cheekpieces, fared no better reverted to hurdling when fifth of 9 at Hexham (23.3f, heavy) 22 days ago. Others preferred.
Remains with only the one career success over hurdles back in 2021. Made the frame in handicaps first 3 starts this season but form has gone the wrong way since, tailed off at Huntingdon (25f, good) on latest outing in November.

This could go the way of EAST EAGLE, who ran up to his best when second at Southwell in November before finding it a barely adequate test at Market Rasen last time. He is taken to double his tally back up in trip, though Rebel Intentions ran better than for a while when third at this C&D 16 days ago and is respected, with Bollin Neil also considered.
