Made up into a fairly useful hurdler last term, leading when fell 2 out in handicap at Perth (26.6f, soft) in April. Half-brother to a smart chaser and immediately improved upon tackling fences when successful from the front at Aintree 3 weeks ago (19.9f). More to come at this trip.

Third in a maiden chase this summer but serious jumping issues led to finishing 14th of 20 in handicap chase at Galway (40/1) 2 months later. Since left Gordon Elliott and doesn't look especially that well treated in a change of headgear.

Ended his first season under Rules with a maiden hurdle win at Ffos Las in April. Landed a point in Ireland at the start of his career and having shown up well until a fall on chase debut at Cheltenham, he made amends in good style at Bangor (3m) a month ago. More to come.

Fairly useful hurdler, winning over 19.4f at Doncaster last season. Left chase debut behind fitted in this headgear when 2¾ lengths third of 5 in Grade 2 at Wincanton but latest handicap run at Doncaster suggests his mark is just a fair one. Up in distance.

Ended losing sequence dating back to 2022 in 6-runner handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (23f, good) in July and even better form when second at Cartmel (25f) in August. Didn't really take to chasing on first stint so others more persuasive.

Successful on first 2 starts over hurdles last season, winning a Lingfield maiden and listed mares' novice at Haydock. However, struggled upped in class since and unseated rider on last week's chase debut. Turned out quickly and in the right hands.

Half-brother to the smart Angels Breath. Runner-up in a Taunton bumper in November and confirmed the promise of his hurdles debut at Doncaster when landing 6-runner novice back there in February (19.4f). Looked amiss on handicap debut in April but can resume progress now chasing on return.

Bumper winner. First past the post in a course novice hurdle last December (later disqualified after rider found guilty of overusing the whip). Second in a similar race 3 months later and looked a potential improver sent chasing but was disappointing here last month. Up in trip.

NEWTON TORNADO looked a staying chaser going places when successful at Bangor a month ago so is fancied to defy an 8 lb higher mark. Guard The Moon made a winning chase debut at Aintree and this step back up in trip will suit, while this will reveal a lot more regarding Holloway Queen's chase prospects.
