Signs of ability in a bumper and showed a bit more than on his hurdles debut when third of 12 back from 9 months off at Bangor (16.7f, heavy), albeit he was beaten over 30 lengths. Will probably be better off in handicaps later on.

Ended time with Joseph Murphy on a bit of a downer, but was placed on 2 of his 3 starts in maiden hurdles for that yard and is entitled to come on for his reappearance/yard debut spin at Newcastle 18 days ago, discouraging an effort though it was. One to note in the betting.

He is open to improvement and looks sure to win races over hurdles. Fellow point winner Malayalam will be of interest if the market speaks in his favour ahead of this Rules debut, while Mr Lincoln also needs a second look in the betting.
