Now 9 lb lower than when successful on soft ground at Hexham last autumn and a brace of placed efforts in recent weeks confirm he's back in reasonable nick. Can be a factor again.
Had wind op (also tongue tied) before getting off the mark in 7-runner handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (23f, good to soft) in May. Off 6 months after and shaped as though in need of the run at Catterick. Should run closer to form here.
Backed at longish odds and proved a totally different proposition than for a while second time up for Micky Hammond when landing eventful Carlisle handicap. No disgrace in finding only a thriving rival too strong at Hexham since but now 6 lb higher.
Opened her account back against her own sex at Huntingdon in May but has been well beaten on all 4 starts for Olly Williams, including in blinkers last time.
Consistent hurdler who got off the mark over 3m at Carlisle last November. Several sold efforts in defeat later that season and now back over timber having failed to take to chasing last month. Figures on a tempting mark.
Long-standing maiden but returned to his best when runner-up at Cartmel (22.1f) in May. Not for the first time, he found less than looked likely at Musselburgh last time.
Showed promise when placed in bumpers and fitted with cheekpieces, he surpassed previous efforts over hurdles when making a successful handicap debut at Market Rasen 3 weeks ago. Major player with slight step up in trip in his favour.
Much improved when winning handicap at Cartmel in June, the step up to 22f helping her cause. Off 6 months after and weakened as if the run was needed at Hexham 17 days ago.
Low-mileage 7-y-o who will need to find improvement from somewhere if she's to take a hand in the finish with cheekpieces on for the first time.
Dual-point winner who showed a bit when mid-field only start in bumpers last November. Hurdles form so far at up to 22f nothing to write home about, though so cheekpieces need to have a positive effect.
Out of a winning pointer but just minor promise in 5 runs over hurdles. Back up in trip with a hood on.
Little show in 3 qualifying runs over 2m and failed to land market support on handicap debut last month. Upped further in trip and not yet exposed.
Reappearance handicap debut sixth at Sedgefield (19.8f, good to firm) in September offered cause for hope, but he has followed that with a couple of nondescript displays. Cheekpieces applied.
Poor maiden who offered little on return to action last month.
Poor maiden hurdler who has pulled up both starts in recent weeks. Blinkers need to have dramatic effect.
Record stands at 0-24 under Rules and now back hurdling on the back of a brace of heavy defeats over fences.

Forecasts
Castanea Breeze (9/4), Little Wren (4/1), Getaway Master (13/2), Shoeshine Boy (7/1), Kalo Athena (9/1), Geordie Night (9/1), Star Vantage (10/1), Glory Hights (11/1), Westerdale (22/1), Moveonbuy (22/1), Smart Bucks (33/1), Fancy Nancy Pants (40/1), Perfect Poli (50/1), You Say Its Over (50/1), Walk My Way (66/1), Little Soiree (66/1)
CASTANEA BREEZE left behind his qualifying runs over hurdles when making a successful handicap debut at Market Rasen 3 weeks ago and with this slight increase in trip in his favour, he could be up to following up. Shoeshine Boy is a solid rival, while Little Wren surely has a bigger performance in her.
