Made an encouraging start hurdling when a clear third of 10 in novice at Chepstow (heavy) and again shaped with promise following 10 months off when fourth on qualifying run at Ayr (soft) last time. Could have more offer now making quick switch to handicaps.
Finished ahead of a couple of next time out winners when second at Perth and found a bit of improvement to get off the mark at Uttoxeter (15.8f) in May. No show in two starts last month though and questions to answer now.
Won twice last season and better than ever of late, twice finishing second prior to overcoming quick turnaround to win a 6-runner handicap hurdle at Sedgefield (16.8f, soft) 17 days ago. Up 6 lb but been competitive from higher marks than this. One to consider.
Placed twice from 3 starts in maiden/novice hurdles on soft/heavy during 2023/24 season. Multiple winner on the Flat since but easy to back when too keen on handicap debut over C&D last month. Worth a check to see if market expects better.
Ended long losing run equipped with a first-time visor when scoring at Newton Abbot (16.8f, heavy) in April and bounced straight back to form when successful on first run for new connections at Sedgefield last time, scoring by 1½ lengths from Bathgate. Up 8 lb but can remain competitive.
Had been out of sorts on Flat and over hurdles for Rebecca Menzies and has a bit to prove with headgear removed on stable debut.
Two-time winner of juvenile hurdles at this track in 2023/24 season. Had an underwhelming year on the Flat and continued in that vein returned to hurdling here last month. Only considered if the market hints at better with Derek Fox back aboard.
Opened his account in 7-runner handicap at Hexham and better than ever when chasing home a subsequent winner at Perth in September. Excuses after and straight back to form when third over C&D last time, beaten by more promising pair. Entitled to be in the mix.
Lightly raced maiden has posted several creditable efforts over hurdles, bouncing back from a lesser run when runner-up in a weak C&D handicap earlier this month, shaping as though she'll stay further than this. Place claims but may need a good pace to aim at.
Runner-up in a pair of Irish points this spring and showed some promise first two starts over hurdles (2½m) prior to pulling up in a 2m Hexham novice last month. Now hooded and should have a more realistic chance now switched to handicaps.
Ridden out to resume winning ways back from a break at Newcastle (17f) and improved runner-up at Sedgefield (16.8f, soft) last month, though never getting to winner who had run of race. Should give another good account.
