Dual C&D last season and added to his tally with a career-best display at Worcester in May. Good second returned to this course (15.8f, good to soft) following a break last month and should run his race, but it could be that he's a shade too high in the weights at present.

Progressive over hurdles, off the mark back from a break in 2½m mares' novice at Perth in September. Lost no caste in defeat when going close on subsequent handicap bow over the same C&D and, a winner of her sole start between the flags, she's of strong interest now switched to fences.

Showed fair level of ability over hurdles and this point winner was still very much in contention when exiting at the second-last on chase debut at Sedgefield (21f, soft). Goes again off the same mark here and should be bang there granted a clear round.

Generally struggled since scoring at Hexham in July 2024 and, though now 12 lb below that winning mark, he is opposable once more.

Off the mark for present yard when making all in a C&D handicap chase (good to soft) last time. This is more demanding up 4 lb and easy lead unlikely, but this 8-y-o is hard to rule out nonetheless.

Front runner who was successful over hurdles at Kelso in May and left previous efforts in this sphere well behind when making every post a winning one here (23.6f, good to soft) a fortnight ago. Up 5 lb and will face competition for the lead, but he remains open to improvement as a chaser.

Multiple hurdles winner (handily treated on best form) and boasts some decent pieces of form over fences, including his Hexham second off a 6 lb higher mark in May. Definite chance here on that form, but not so good since and he has looked like a non-stayer on previous attempts at around 2½m.

Has only an Ayr handicap chase success in February 2024 to show from his 24 starts and while the handicapper has cut him some slack, others bring more compelling claims to the table.

This promises to be a strongly-run race and, provided that her jumping passes the test, MOUNTAIN MOLLY may well make a winning start in this sphere. Progressive over hurdles, she cost plenty after winning her sole start between the flags and appeals as the type to make up into a decent chaser. Benefit Ben made it third time lucky over fences here recently and is greatly respected with further progress likely. Kadjar des Mottes and O'Faolains Glory are also plausible candidates.
