C&D winner. 4 wins from 13 runs this year, the latest here in November. 7/4, below form sixth of 10 in handicap at this C&D 15 days ago, but on a roll prior to that and may well bounce back with a bold show.

Five-time C&D winner. 3 wins from 26 runs this year. Respectable 3 lengths fourth of 9 to Spun To Gold in handicap (11/4) at this C&D 24 days ago. Likely to be in the thick of things.

C&D winner. Fourteen runs since last win in 2024. 25/1 and tongue strap on for 1st time, tenth of 11 in handicap at Kempton (6f) 3 days ago. Blinkers back on and while he would have a real chance if on-song, others bring more compelling recent form to the table.

4/1, won 12-runner handicap at this C&D 11 days ago, driven out. 3 lb nudge fair enough and he may well add to that belated first career success sooner rather than later.

Forecasts

Yorkshire Glory (9/4), Pit Boss (10/3), Last Outlaw (9/2), Spun To Gold (9/2), Asadjumeirah (11/1), Fircombe Hall (16/1), Prince Of Bel Lir (16/1), Master Dandy (28/1), Madame Plaintiff (28/1), Penny Mountain (33/1), Yellow Lemons (40/1), Shoptilyoudrop (40/1)

Verdict

Though SPUN TO GOLD's winning run came to a halt here recently, that may have simply been a case of a "bad day at the office" rather than indicative of a general downturn in form. He remains on a workable mark and is taken to get back on the scoresheet. The fact that Pit Boss remains a maiden following 16 attempts tells a story, but he has been knocking firmly on the door of late and is feared most ahead of Yorkshire Glory, who opened his account at the sixteenth attempt over C&D 11 days ago.
