Forecasts

Machete (5/4), Light Speed (11/4), Desert Emperor (9/2), Humble Spark (8/1), Popeye Doyle (11/1), Maui Breeze (50/1)

None of the sextet can be ruled out but David O'Meara's MACHETE signalled he is ready to end a long losing sequence when runner-up here last time out so edges the vote from recent C&D scorer Desert Emperor. Course winner Light Speed also commands plenty of respect.
