Dawson Hart Solicitors Handicap Hurdle

Bumper winner on debut in February but posted best effort to date over hurdles when third on qualifying run at Hereford (16.2f) last time. Should be more to come now upped in trip for handicap bow.

Found improvement on the back of another breathing operation when second in a 2½m Ffos Las handicap in October (form worked out well) and backed it up with a solid third at Hereford (19.7f, good) 20 days ago. Makes appeal off an unchanged mark.

Successful at this track on first 3 chase starts in 2023/24 and still in good heart last season despite not winning. Hasn't returned in the same form this campaign though and remains to be seen if he fares any better off 5 lb lower hurdles mark.

Showed ability in bumpers/hurdles for Ben Pauling but was let down by her jumping on final start for the yard. Now sent handicapping having pulled up on stable debut earlier this month and looks in danger of going the wrong way.

Placed in a point but hasn't achieved anything in novice/maiden hurdles to date. No surprise to see improvement now sent handicapping by capable yard and worth a second look in the betting.

Has shown little in 4 starts to date but warrants a market check upped markedly in trip for handicap debut.

Does most of her racing here and both wins registered at this track, the latest over C&D in April. Didn't come on for her reappearance over longer trip here last time (possibly unsuited by heavy conditions) and should be closer to form back down in distance on a sounder surface.
