Having made the frame on third of 3 starts in novices last term, was strong in the betting but failed to improve when third of 6 on handicap debut at Leicester (15.5f, soft) 23 days ago. However, she's worth another chance upped in trip with tongue strap added.

Fairly useful in bumpers but failed to go on from a promising start over hurdles last term, well beaten in handicaps final 2 outings. Pulled up at Market Rasen (21.4f, good to soft) on seasonal/chase debut last month and blinkers now reached for back hurdling.

Point winner who has improved sent chasing this season, opening her Rules account in handicap at Worcester (20f, good to soft) in June. Shaped as if better for the run after 5 months off at Wincanton last time, so task is now to transfer her form back to hurdles.

Point winner but still looking for first win under Rules. Runner-up in a pair of maiden hurdles for Billy Aprahamian in April, but subsequently well held in 2 handicaps for Grace Harris and pulled up at Exeter on debut for current yard 17 days ago. Others more persuasive.

Some encouragement when fourth in a Sedgefield maiden (19.9f) on hurdling debut but, having been pulled up in 2 of 3 points since, she was down the field both starts in October. Step up in trip should at least suit as she goes handicapping with tongue strap applied.

Third on first of 2 starts in bumpers for Emmet Mullins, though didn't make much impact in maiden hurdles for that yard and it's been a similar story in handicaps for current trainer this season. Absent since June but return to this longer distance could help.

Bit of promise in a junior hurdle at Chepstow on debut but hasn't gone on from that effort, pulled up in handicap at Lingfield (16f, good) on latest outing last month. However, she's stoutly bred so might yet do better as she goes up in distance.

Multiple point winner in first half of 2024 but couldn't translate that form back to Rules, one paced in the latter stages when third of 8 in handicap at Market Rasen (19.2f, good) on second of 2 chase starts last season. Back over hurdles on return from 14 months off.

In first-time cheekpieces over hurdles, off the mark in handicap at Exeter (16.7f) in October. Unsuited by emphasis on speed at Lingfield next time, but back up in trip she soon returned to form when fourth of 14 at Wincanton (19.8f, good) last time. Merits consideration.

Runner-up in a French bumper but has struggled for form since her third on stable/hurdling debut. However, she took a step back in the right direction when fifth of 11 in handicap at Fontwell (21.8f, good to soft) last time. On a reduced mark so she enters calculations.

Made the frame in 2 bumpers in January but well held in her 3 qualifying runs over hurdles last season. After 8 months off, briefly threatened on handicap debut when sixth of 10 at Fontwell (17.7f, good to soft) in November, but others still preferred.

Making her third start, went without the hood and showed a bit more than previously when fifth of 8 in novice hurdle at Worcester (20f, good) in July. Could do with brushing up her jumping as she starts off in handicaps after 5-month absence.

Remains a maiden but was placed twice for current yard last season, including when third at Taunton (23.9f, good) in March. Tailed off at Fontwell on return, though she could strip fitter for that outing with cheekpieces now reapplied.

KUPKA VALLIS wasn't able to jusitfy favouritism on her seasonal/handicap debut when third at Leicester last month, but shaped as if a greater emphasis on stamina would suit so she remains capable of better upped in trip. She is preferred to Masonbrook Meadow, who has benefited from the recent fitting of cheekpieces, with Jamaicaine completing the shortlist.
