Quickly made up into a fairly useful hurdler last term and while he failed to land a blow on return/chase debut at Wetherby (15.2f, soft) 3 weeks ago, that was a pretty strong race and he was given a considerate introduction. 3 lb lower now and improvement should be forthcoming.
Winner of 4 of his 14 starts over hurdles and was a good second in a Uttoxeter handicap on latest start in that sphere during the spring. However, he didn't offer much sent chasing on return at Ffos Las and others make more appeal.
Successful Irish pointer who won once and was runner-up 3 times from half-a-dozen starts over hurdles last season. Delivered an assured round of jumping when making all in a C&D handicap on second run over fences recently and he should have more to offer as a chaser.
Back-to-back winner of deep-ground 2½m handicap chases in December 2023, but largely struggled since and he needs to get back on track.
Dual bumper/hurdles winner for Jimmy Moffatt. 0-7 over fences, but she has some decent bits and pieces of form to her name in this sphere and stepping back up in trip will help having rallied in the closing stages when third in 2m mares' handicap at Uttoxeter last time.
Runner-up both starts in maiden hurdles during 2023/24 and improved switched to handicaps last term, opening his account at Plumpton (20.5f, good to soft) in March and went close at Warwick the following month. This 6-y-o could have a part to play if his jumping passes the test on this chase debut.
Fair hurdles winner who failed to build on his chase debut promise last term. Back on track when opening account in this sphere on return in a 4-runner Fontwell handicap (19.5f, good to soft), but the challenge is to now build on that.
Twice a winner of handicap chases during 2023/24 season, including over this C&D. Took a step back in the right direction when runner-up on the third of his 3 starts last term at Exeter (19.2f, soft), but he's entitled to need this on the back of a 10-month absence.

Forecasts
Ben Solo (5/6), Tune In A Box (9/2), Just Over Land (8/1), Lumi Plugin (9/1), Lunar Discovery (10/1), Bonza Boy (14/1), Starcrossed Lover (16/1), Happy And Fine (28/1)
A 6 lb rise for BEN SOLO's recent all-the-way C&D success doesn't look prohibitive, particularly when factoring in the likelihood of further improvement over fences. He is taken to strike again, perhaps at the chief expense of Lumi Plugin, who didn't do much wrong over hurdles last season and will be a threat if taking to the larger obstacles here. Starcrossed Lover was pitched into a strong handicap for his chase debut and he is also interesting.
