Lady Babs^p²¹

Age: 11| Weight: 11-13| J: Conor Rabbitt| T: A Crook| OR: 109| CD

14/1

A 4-time C&D winner but she looked rusty after 7 months off when pulled up in handicap hurdle here (18.6f, good to soft) 21 days ago. Can take a step forward now.

Form: 11131-P

Tara Iti³¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Isabelle Ryder⁽³⁾| T: F Brennan| OR: 108

40/1

A 4-time winner over hurdles for James Owen in the first half of this year but he was well below form for his new stable when fifth of 7 in handicap at Plumpton (15.9f, good to soft) 31 days ago. Has a bit to prove now.

Form: 171045

Uhtred Ragnarson³⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 11-11| J: Philip Armson⁽³⁾| T: A King| OR: 107

4/1

Much improved after 6 months off when readily opening his account in 8-runner handicap hurdle at Warwick (16f, good) 30 days ago. Up 7 lb but he's a player once more.

Form: 3632-31

Bathgate¹⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Joe Williamson| T: P A Kirby| OR: 98| BF| D

8/11

Back to his best of late and he travelled strongly long way when a clear second of 9 in handicap hurdle at Sedgefield (16.8f, soft) 10 days ago. Has to be taken seriously off an unchanged mark.

Form: 50-5952

Wind Your Neck In^t¹⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Tom Midgley⁽³⁾| T: S England| OR: 96

7/1

Remains winless in this sphere and he came in only sixth of 7 in handicap hurdle at Leicester (15.5f, soft) 17 days ago. More is required despite a slipping mark.

Form: 2-24536

Forecasts

Bathgate (8/11), Uhtred Ragnarson (4/1), Freddy Robinson (7/1), Wind Your Neck In (7/1), Lady Babs (14/1), Tara Iti (40/1)

BATHGATE signalled he is ready to strike again when a strong-travelling runner-up at Sedgefield recently so looks the way to go off the same mark here. Alan King's Uhtred Ragnarson is less exposed and rates a big danger to Philip Kirby's 5-y-o though on the back of a stylish Warwick victory, while Freddy Robinson and Lady Babs appeal as the pick of the rest in the battle for minor honours.
