Four-time winner over hurdles but presumably hasn't been the easiest to train and went backwards from her reappearance when eighth of 18 in 21f Cheltenham handicap 18 days ago. This is less competitive at least.

Dual hurdler winner who was in the process of running another fine race over a 2f longer trip when exiting late in a 23f Worcester handicap in May. Said to have had a breathing problem when pulled up at Exeter last time, however.

Unreliable type for Henry Daly who was held back by his jumping starting out for new yard when beating only one home in 9-runner handicap at Wetherby (21.2f, soft) 17 days ago. Cheekpieces on for 1st time.

Won back-to-back handicaps at Uttoxeter and Lingfield last winter but progress has stalled since, failing to justify favouritism at this course on return 18 days ago. Needs to get back on the up.

Some promise in a pair of bumpers and has improved with each run over hurdles, opening his account in first-time cheekpieces after 5 months off (had breathing op) in 10-runner handicap at Wetherby (21.2f, good) 32 days ago, forging clear. Step up to 3m will suit and can follow up.

Forecasts

Duel Au Soleil (2/1), Eaton Anne (2/1), My Cullen (9/2), I Spy A Diva (13/2), Stone's Throw (11/1), Ebony Warrior (14/1), Bridge North (33/1)

Verdict

DUEL AU SOLEIL was suited by the step up in trip when making a winning handicap debut in first-time cheekpieces at Wetherby at the end of October and, with more improvement in the pipeline now that his stamina is drawn out further, he's a straightforward choice to follow up. My Cullen found only a similarly unexposed one too good at Lingfield on his most recent outing and is feared most.
