20/1

En Avant¹⁷

Age: 9| Weight: 11-8| J: K Brogan| T: H McMahon| OR: 93

300/1

Fair hurdler winner for Olly Murphy but he showed little for new connections when a tailed-off fifth in 2m handicap chase at Newcastle 17 days ago. Has a bit to prove now.

Forecasts

King Gris (4/11), Red Cadillac (4/1), Ozzy Cosmo (11/2), Holly Bird (12/1), Velvet Vulcan (18/1), Bray Dale (18/1), Grand Voyage (20/1), Breadalbane Lass (25/1), En Avant (300/1)

Nicky Richards' low-mileage RED CADILLAC advanced his form when gaining a breakthrough success at Carlisle and can build on it here to defy a 4 lb rise. Velvet Vulcan also took a step forward when sixth here last time and could emerge as the main threat, with Ozzy Cosmo and Holly Bird also in the mix.
