Golden Prince⁴⁹

50/1

66/1, well-held sixth of 8 in bumper at Chepstow 49 days ago. Came in third on his sole start in points in February though so could still do better now going over hurdles.

Sir Hobnob³¹

A fair bumper winner who has shown similar form in this sphere, posting a respectable fifth of 14 in novice hurdle at Stratford (16.3f, good to soft) 31 days ago. One to consider.

Form: 71-35

7/4

Won all his 3 completed junior hurdles (fair form) last term and returned with a solid third of 7 in novice at Wetherby (19.7f, soft) 15 days ago. Holds very good form claims.

Form: 1U11-3

There Runs Mary¹¹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-13| J: S Bowen| T: O Murphy| D

11/10

Flemensfirth mare looked a good prospect when a fairly useful bumper scorer last term. Novicey mistakes but easily landed the odds on her hurdling bow in 4-runner novice at Ffos Las (15.8f, soft) 11 days ago and she's the one to beat.

Form: 12-1

Forecasts

There Runs Mary (11/10), Smart Decision (7/4), Sir Hobnob (7/2), My Fortune (40/1), Eaststone Buck's (40/1), Golden Prince (50/1)

THERE RUNS MARY scored hard held despite mistakes on her recent hurdling debut at Ffos Las and Olly Murphy's exciting bumper scorer is impossible to oppose here. The consistent Smart Decision should ensure the selection doesn't have things all her own way though.
