Won consecutive 7f handicaps before finishing fifth of 9 in handicap at Epsom (12/1) 91 days ago, weakening final 1f. More needed if he's to defy this mark but his rider does take off a handy 5 lb.
Lightly raced this year but he turned in a solid effort when fourth of 9 at Kempton (7f) back in May, short of room over 1f out but one-paced late. Not out of things back from 6 months off.
Put it all together when landing 14-runner handicap in Racing League series at Chepstow (6f) 3 starts back. Much better than he could show when down the field in Ayr Silver Cup next time but he does need to shrug off a poor effort when last of 14 in handicap at Doncaster last month.
Ultra consistent for this yard earlier this year before a pair of lesser displays at Goodwood/Chepstow in July/August. Returns from a break without cheekpieces and form on all-weather surfaces is solid.
Won a 7f handicap at Newbury in August before finishing fourth of 14 in 7f handicap at Kempton (9/1) 47 days ago, leading but not settling fully with no extra late on. Blinkers removed today. Has rejoined former yard.
Won AW maiden (at 6f) in hood, then 2nd at Kempton before 11th of 12 in handicap at Salisbury (14/1) 53 days ago. Hood back on for return to AW and surprise where he not capable of better yet following just 4 career starts.
Lightly-raced 5-y-o who shaped with encouragement in pair of AW outings in the spring for James Tate but he ran poorly after 6 months off (also gelded) when 11th of 21 in handicap at Doncaster (7f, heavy) 16 days ago. Needs to bounce back.
3-time winner as a juvenile but found it tough this year, albeit not seen to best effect when fifth of 8 in handicap at Kempton (17/2) 26 days ago, racing wide. Fallen to a career-low mark ahead of this and better showing certainly not ruled out.
Confirmed more positive signs when running out an emphatic winner of a 9-runner C&D handicap 16 days ago, leading 1f out and drawing clear. 10 lb higher now but he can't be discounted for all his draw also makes things tricky. Visor on in place of cheekpieces.
Won a Newmarket handicap (7f) on final outing of 2024 but below form when ninth of 14 in handicap at Southwell (7f, 12/1) 211 days ago, slowly into stride and never involved. Market can likely prove a useful guide on first start since April.
Two-time course winner who finished fifth of 10 in handicap at Southwell (12/1) 21 days ago after changing stables. Could benefit from return to this track where she's performed best.
Latest win at Lingfield (7.6f, turf) in May and essentially run with credit all 4 starts since, leaving the impression he may tighten up for the run when seventh of 11 in handicap at Kempton (7f) in September. Better showing anticipated.

DIAMONDONTHEHILL has been given a break following a couple of lesser efforts on turf, yet he was a model of consistency on all-weather prior to that and could be worth chancing to bounce back from an easing mark. Al Muqdad is in fine form after an emphatic course and distance success 16 days ago and is an obvious threat despite a tricky draw. Mae Amor, a dual course winner, completes the shortlist.
