Useful hurdler for Dan Skelton but well beaten all 3 starts for current yard, a breathing operation making little difference at Newton Abbot 3 weeks ago. Cheekpieces are on for the first time.

Mixed record over fences last season though did score on second chase start a year ago Not for the first time, he was held back by his jumping when falling on reappearance 3 weeks ago and now reverts to hurdling for his in-form yard.

Novice winner (16.7f) here in January and best effort when third in a Grade 2 Novices' Hurdle at Haydock, despite novicey mistakes. Again jumped less than fluently when below form behind a promising rival at Lingfield before finishing fifth on handicap debut in April. Same mark on return.
|
Made a winning start over hurdles in a C&D maiden in October 2024. Didn't really kick on after but represents bang in-form yard and he advanced his form when second of 6 on return to action at Newton Abbot 3 weeks ago.
|
Taunton winner from 1 lb lower in February. Plenty of solid efforts in defeat since but he was brushed aside at Kelso when last seen in September.
|
Won a juvenile maiden hurdle on first start for Harry Derham in January. Form a bit up and down since but down in the weights and much more like it when second fitted with cheekpieces at Plumpton a month ago. Major player eased further 2 lb.
|
Dual winner in juvenile hurdles in 2023/24. Didn't take to chasing on reappearance but ended the season in the perfect fashion with a Fontwell win in April. Off since but he's in good hands.

Forecasts
Ambion View (7/4), Valadon (18/5), Peacenik (5/1), Turn And Finish (5/1), Range (15/2), Luttrell Lad (12/1), Punta Del Este (25/1)
TURN AND FINISH reacted well to first-time cheekpieces when finding only a subsequent winner too strong at Plumpton a month ago and eased 2 lb, he looks weighted to strike. Ambion View's reappearance was a positive one so he's second choice, ahead of Range back over timber.
