Fair maiden hurdler who didn't really kick on in handicaps during second half of last season. However, he's a half-brother to stable's one-time useful chaser Valadom and certainly not one to write off now his attentions switch to larger obstacles following 7 months off. Market can guide.

A fair winner at 21f over hurdles but failed to match that level in trio of chase tries during first half of this year for Harry Fry, pulled up at Bangor when last seen in May. Assessor has given him a chance but he needs to bounce back now starting out for new stable.

Successful first 2 starts over fences over C&D in February/March. Failed to fire when bidding for the hat-trick at Southwell during the spring (jumping lacked fluency) and failed to revive after 7 months off when pulled up at Uttoxeter (20f) 3 weeks ago. Has it to prove now. Cheekpieces back on.

Lightly-raced maiden hurdler who was much improved from his chase debut when winning at Market Rasen (19.1f) in October. Would have followed up but for some indifferent jumping when falling at Fontwell (17.7f) since and he remains of firm interest with likelihood of more to come in this sphere.

A fair maiden hurdler who possibly needed the run after 6 months off when fourth of 7 in handicap chase (10/3) at Plumpton (19.8f, good to soft) on debut over fences 19 days ago. Likely to improve for top yard but he does need to brush up his jumping.

A three-time winner for Margaret Mullins in Ireland. Below that level for this yard and his exploits proved mixed last season, below best when eighth of 13 in handicap chase at Taunton (18.2f, good to soft) when last seen 11 months ago. Others rate stronger.

Two-time chase winner (including over C&D) who stepped up on his reappearance effort without getting back to top form when fifth of 12 in handicap hurdle at this course (19.6f, good, 22/1) 20 days ago. Now 12 lb below last winning mark if he can scale his resurgence further back over fences.

Down the field in 3 maiden/novice hurdles over 2m last spring and never better than mid-field (well-beaten) both starts in handicaps upon returning this autumn. Switch to chasing/fitting of cheekpieces needs to bring about a marked step forward.

Belatedly doubled his tally over fences at Fontwell (21.6f) this time last year. Largely below par since but he displayed much more spark ridden more positively when second of 10 in handicap chase back at Fontwell (19.5f) 2 weeks ago. On a workable mark if building on that here.

Poor maiden who was soon done with when the race began in earnest after 19 months off when fifth of 7 in handicap chase at Warwick (25.4f, good) 18 days ago. This should reveal more but best watched in any case back down in trip.

Poor maiden hurdler/chaser who was in process of running one of her better races when unseating rider last at Ludlow (2m) 16 days ago. Still, looks to have plenty on his plate again from 3 lb out of the weights.

Remaining open to improvement on the back of just 3 starts in this sphere, he can gain compensation, with Strolling Along, Kalhandrion and Boys of Wexford appealing as the likeliest dangers.
