Eleven runs since last win in 2024 but he knocked firmly on the door during first half of this year. Absent since a below-par display at Salisbury (14.2f) in May but return to all-weather in his favour and his record fresh is good.

Dual winner at around this trip at Newcastle earlier this year and he lines up here on the back of good placed efforts, second of 5 in handicap back at Newcastle (16.2f) 73 days ago, clear of rest. Goes off an unchanged mark but this rates a tougher assignment.

Stepped up markedly on AW reappearance when 3rd of 12 in handicap at Newbury (12f) 26 days ago. Significant step up in trip now poses a question.

NEW YORK MINUTE'S rate of progress showed no signs of stopping when a dominant winner of a C&D handicap 7 weeks ago and he's an appealing candidate to defy an inflated mark now starting out for a new yard. Ribble Vibe was a place behind Berkshire Sundance when the pair met at York last month but may be up to reversing those placings on these revised terms. Robusto is another to consider back on AW boasting a good record fresh.
