C&D winner. 3 wins from 19 runs this year. Not at recent best when tenth of 22 in handicap (16/1) at Doncaster (6f, heavy) 12 days ago. However, that came in class 2 company and no surprise to see him back to form in what is a weaker race.
Well-bred improver who doubled his tally when readily landing the Brighton Bullet handicap (6f) in August. That form has substance and seemingly all not well when last of 12 in handicap at Salisbury (6f) 49 days ago. Profile was positive prior to that and he's likely to bounce back on AW debut.
C&D winner off 5 lb higher mark in April and having not been seen to best effect in recent starts, he ran well when second of 13 in handicap (22/1) at this C&D 20 days ago, nearest finish. One to bear in mind again on the back of that.
Successful from a 3 lb higher mark at Doncaster (5f) back in June and posted one of his better recent efforts when fourth of 14 in handicap back at that venue (6f, heavy) 4 weeks ago, travelling with purpose for a long way. Cheekpieces worn then are retained and he's not ruled out back on AW.
Strong AW record with 4 wins including twice at this C&D. Ran respectably despite being rather tardily away when fourth of 8 in handicap at Kempton (6f) 22 days ago and he's operating only 2 lb above his last winning mark.
A fairly useful juvenile winner in the mud but yet to fire in a light 2025 campaign, eighteenth of 22 in handicap (80/1) at Doncaster (6f, heavy) 12 days ago. Handicapper has eased his grip further on the back of that but need to see more before becoming of interest. Tapeta debut.
Ended time with Daniel James Murphy in Ireland on the up, making it 2 wins from last 3 starts granted the run of the race when winning 8-runner handicap at Fairyhouse (6.1f, good) in May, closed down only late on. This looks tougher on return but not ruled out if lining up in similar groove.
50/1, seventh of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 17 days ago, merely plugging on. Others make stronger appeal.
Made a winning reappearance at Windsor (6f) in May but underwhelming since, including in pair of starts since being re-united with present stable, coming in last of 8 in handicap at Haydock (5f, good to soft) 34 days ago. Best watched at present.
4-time winner upon joining Ruth Carr last year and enhanced good record fresh when successful at Chelmsford (6f) in May. Largely consistent in defeat since, off 4 months prior to finishing fifth of 10 in handicap at Catterick (6f, soft) 23 days ago. Each-way claims.
Two wins from 4 starts as a juvenile for Alice Haynes, latterly a 5f nursery here last December. Well-beaten only start for Aidan Melia at Dundalk (5f) back in July but made a very interesting yard switch ahead of this and market confidence behind him would look significant. Hood on 1st time.
Underwhelming initially for this yard but eased in weights as a result and tenacious in landing brace of C&D handicaps in recent months. Had run of the race for the latest of them 4 weeks ago but he remains with handicapping scope up 3 lb on the pick of last year's efforts.
It's now fourteen runs since last win in 2024 but found the ease back down in class a plus when third of 10 in handicap at Catterick (6f, good to soft) 33 days ago. Now 12 lb below last winning mark if he can use that as a springboard to build on.
In-form 6-y-o who doubled his tally for the year with a dominant display at Wolverhampton (6.1f) in October. Up 8 lb, ran at least as well without any luck in running when second of 12 in handicap back there 17 days ago and he can't be discounted in this groove.

Forecasts
Stanley Spencer (9/2), Prince Of Pillo (5/1), Papa Cocktail (13/2), Ararat (13/2), Baldomero (15/2), Aberama Gold (8/1), Another Abbot (17/2), Fiscal Policy (12/1), Buccabay (16/1), Bosh (18/1), No Return (20/1), Solvency (22/1), Under The Twilight (28/1), Running Queen (28/1)
ANOTHER ABBOT clearly wasn't himself at Salisbury 7 weeks ago, yet this well-bred 3-y-o's profile was positive prior to that and he looks worthy of another chance to get back on track on tapeta debut. Baldomero ran his best race since early summer when fourth at Doncaster last time and he's not taken lightly back on an artificial surface. Prince of Pillo and Aberama Gold complete the shortlist.
- Another Abbot17/2
- Baldomero15/2
