Fairly useful hurdle winner for Gordon Elliott. Promising signs early last season and took a step back in the right direction on second start following a breathing operation when fourth in a 6-runner handicap at Newbury. Could have more to offer with headgear retained for chase debut.
Made a successful hurdling debut in a 2¾m Stratford maiden (heavy) last October. Pitched into the deep end on handicap debut when running no sort of race in a competitive EBF novice final. Had wind surgery since (tongue tie now removed) and may be capable of better now tackling fences.
Place in Points. Twice a winner at Fontwell, running to a fairly useful level when last successful in April. Needed the run on reappearance at that track last month and not discounted on chasing bow given Pointing background.
Strong in the betting when making it fourth time lucky over hurdles in 2½m Fakenham novice (good) in February. Didn't run much of a race in EBF Final (Handicap) at Sandown but straight back to form when runner-up at Warwick last time. May be better to come in first-time headgear on chase debut.
Runner-up sole start Irish Points. Fair form in maiden/novice hurdles (never landed a blow on sole handicap start when well held seventh in EBF final at Sandown), his finishing effort again somewhat lacking when third in a Ffos Las novice last time. Could make a better chaser this season.
Irish point runner-up. Improved to score over 2m4f on handicap debut at Ffos Las (heavy) in January and signing off with a creditable third at Sandown (19.8f, soft) following month. Interesting chase debutant for excellent yard.
Made a successful debut over fences at Hereford last season and made it 2 from 3 over fences returned to better ground when beating a couple of next time out winners at Exeter in March. Has experience on his side and may make a winning return in a change of headgear.
Runner-up four times last season, most recently when edged out in 17.7f maiden at Fontwell, pulling nicely clear of the rest on that occasion. Pedigree offers plenty of hope now sent chasing and market should prove informative on first start over fences.

Forecasts
Dangerous Touch (9/4), Followcato (10/3), Captain Boudet (6/1), Kalif D'airy (13/2), Aviation (15/2), Silver Thorn (17/2), Batwomen (11/1), Gold In The Rivers (25/1)
CAPTAIN BOUDET is the only runner to have raced over fences to date, improving to make it 2 wins from 3 as a chaser when beating a couple of subsequent winners at Exeter in March, and he looks the most solid option. Plenty of the remainder make appeal on their respective chase debuts, Point runner-up Followcato heading the list ahead of Aviation.
