Verdict

The vote goes to CLEARPOINT, who has looked better than ever at Lingfield the last twice and he is taken to complete the hat-trick. Vintage Clarets is on a competitive mark and looks a big threat returned to the all-weather. The 6-y-o rates the main danger, albeit only marginally as Blue Storm has been given a chance by the handicapper and a reproduction of his effort at Haydock in September would put him firmly in the picture.
