Winless since 2023 and probably isn't he force of old. Again sweated up badly when well held on reappearance at Chepstow (23.6f) last month. Mark is falling (drops in grade here) but hasn't looked like capitalising.

Prolific winner proved better than ever on the back of a fourth breathing operation, jumping well to land a 6-runner 3m handicap chase at Kempton 19 days ago, always holding on. Further progress not ruled out.

Got off the mark over fences over this C&D last season. Better than ever in first-time cheekpieces when a game winner at Taunton in February but found things too hot in the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham next time. Makes appeal back in calmer waters with Harry Cobden aboard for first time.

Two-time hurdle winner made it third time lucky over fences when landing a 4-runner handicap chase in first-time cheekpieces at Carlisle (24.5f). Undone by a 4 lb rise and a deeper field when fourth at Perth subsequently and will need to improve on first start following wind surgery.

Landed a double at Stratford (27.5f) in May and had been shaping better than form figures suggest prior to a lacklustre display at Newton Abbot in September. Questions to answer in a stronger race.

Fairly useful hurdler won a maiden chase at this track last November but his jumping remains a work in progress, for all he faced a stiff task when a well held third in an intermediate chase (21f) on his return. Should be better off returning to a handicap back over a longer trip.

Made a winning return at Fontwell in October 2023 and followed up at Hereford (25.2f) the following month. Clearly had an issue given he's been absent since and the market should guide expectations as he bids for the hat-trick in first-time cheekpieces.

Versatile mare who resumed winning ways over fences for Gavin Cromwell at Punchestown (22f) in February. Shaped well on first start for Dan Skelton/reappearance when keeping on well to finish second at Chepstow (19.5f) and she's a leading contender if seeing out the longer trip.

Forecasts

Theonewedreamof (3/1), Jupiter Allen (3/1), Gyenyame (4/1), Village Master (11/2), Vision De Maine (7/1), Mt Fugi Park (17/2), Stans The Man (10/1), Hipop Des Ongrais (16/1), Annsam (50/1)

Verdict

THEONEWEDREAMOF shaped well when runner-up on debut for Dan Skelton and looks sure to be winning races this season. She's the one to beat if seeing out the longer trip, with Jupiter Allen, who made a winning reappearance at this track last season, feared most with Harry Cobden aboard for the first time. Vision De Maine hit the ground running over fences last season and should be in the mix on his return.
