Emphatically ending losing run at Ripon (9.7f) in April and highlighted he's back in good order of late, eased further in weights prior to finishing a good second of 10 in handicap at Doncaster (10.2f, heavy) 10 days ago. Respected again.
Upwardly-mobile Acclamation gelding who opened his account at third attempt when emphatically bagging 5-runner novice at Epsom (10.1f, good) 37 days ago, forging clear. Appeals as the type to progress further now handicapping and he merits serious consideration.
In excellent form, winning four consecutive races since early August, the latest a 7-runner handicap at Hamilton (9.1f) 5 weeks ago. Busy spell possibly caught up with him when down the field at York 24 days ago though, and he's yet to defy a mark this high.
Blue Point gelding who doubled his career tally at Ayr (10f) in August and improved further in defeat of late, again finding only one too good in 7-runner handicap at Ayr 910f) 5 weeks ago. Likely he can make his presence felt again.
Won twice in July/August and having had excuses at Doncaster on his penultimate start, he found a more truly-run race favouring him when fourth of 19 in handicap at York (10.2f, good) 24 days ago. Versatile as regards ground and expected to give another good account.
Course winner who has finished down the field both starts upon returning to action this year, fifteenth of 19 in handicap (80/1) at York (10.2f, good) 24 days ago, losing place from 3f out. Usual hood goes back on ahead of this but he's hard to warm to at present.
Debut winner at 2 yrs for Hugo Palmer last summer but he's gone the wrong way since, including for new yard, soon detached when fourteenth of 15 in handicap at Doncaster (7f, heavy) 10 days ago. Significantly back up in trip now but he has plenty to prove.
C&D maiden winner in May who has largely performed with credit in defeat since, finishing a creditable fourth of 12 in handicap at Catterick (12.1f, good to soft) 17 days ago despite not looking entirely at home on the track. Not ruled out back at 10f.
Back on track in a refitted hood of late, building on a promising second at Haydock when winning 13-runner handicap at Doncaster (10.2f, heavy) 11 days ago, proving game to regain the lead close home. Any easing of the ground would help on that evidence but this tougher from out of the weights.

Forecasts
Alcarath (11/8), Mafting (5/1), Spioradalta (11/2), Obito (13/2), Have Secret (15/2), Project Geofin (10/1), Lesrico (25/1), Spirit Catcher (50/1), Wolf Of Badenoch (66/1)
Alan King's upwardly-mobile ALCARATH looked one to keep firmly onside when running out an emphatic winner of an Epsom novice 37 days ago and he rates a solid proposition on handicap debut with further progress in the offing. Have Secret and Obito both arrive in very good heart and may well emerge as the chief dangers, ahead of Project Geofin.
- Alcarath11/8
- Have Secret15/2
- Obito13/2
