ATS Roofing Alex Sneddon Stagdoo Handicap Chase

Got off the mark over hurdles here a year ago but expensive to follow throughout the season. Clearly capable fresh and now has attentions turned to chasing.

Losing run stretches back 2 years and he's rather hit-and-miss nowadays, sticking to his task when third of 7 ay Perth in September. Cheekpieces back on and repeat of that will see him involved.

Hasn't always been the most reliable but not easy to pass when he's in the mood, as he showed when forging clear in 7-runner handicap at Cartmel in August. Needs some motivating and he's up 8 lb here.

Improved last spring, runner-up twice at Newcastle prior to opening her account at Hexham (heavy). Just the one decent effort last season but just 2 lb above that winning mark and any rain would be in her favour ahead of reappearance.

Made the frame a few times over hurdles and has improved over fences, shedding maiden tag under a positive ride at Perth (23.8f, soft) last spring. Fit from a spin over hurdles when doubling tally over C&D in February and though off since, he remains of interest.

Tumbled down the weights and showed a bit more when hitting the frame twice in the spring, latterly on chase debut at Hexham. Not in the same form back at that track in June and off since. Visor replaces cheekpieces.

Would have a serious chance off this lowly mark if back to anything like his best, but efforts in 2025 point to a gradual decline and it's easy enough to look elsewhere on return to action.

Won back-to-back handicaps over fences in March and found only one too good at Hexham in June. Rare below-par effort when pulled up back at that venue (24.2f, heavy) 29 days ago but he's likely to bounce back given overall profile.

Opened his account from a basement mark over hurdles at Newcastle (20.3f) in December and left previous 2 efforts over fences well behind when successful at Hexham (20f) in May. Off since and lot depends on whether he sees this 3m distance out.

Made the track only once last season and shaped as if the run was needed when pulled up on his return at Hexham in May. Didn't do enough at Cartmel later that month to seriously consider him.

Best effort for a while when nailed close home at Hexham in May but not in the same form twice soon after and this veteran hasn't won a race since November 2020.
