Time Test gelding stepped forward from his debut when second of 8 in novice at Brighton (6f, good to firm) 14 days ago, again racing freely and paying for that enthusiasm late on. He's a definite player if settling better.

£6,000 yearling, Dream Ahead colt. Dam, 5f winner, half-sister to useful winner up to 7f Treaty of Paris. Inexpensive purchase but has speed in pedigree and betting should offer plenty of clues on racecourse bow.

Finished third in back-to-back maidens and ran to a similar level on handicap debut when eighth of 14 in nursery at Lingfield (7f, AW, 28/1) 16 days ago, raced freely but did make late headway. Will need to improve to get off the mark back in a maiden.

Made late headway amidst greenness on debut at Wolverhampton (7.2f) but took a step backwards switched to turf when ninth of 13 in maiden at Brighton (8f, good to soft) 23 days ago. Drops markedly in trip now and will be better off in handicaps.

Ardad colt. Dam, 7f winner, half-sister to smart 5.7f-7f winner Dan's Dream. Offered little when 80/1, fifth of 6 in novice at Lingfield (6f, good) on debut in June. That race has produced a couple of improvers and interesting to see if the market expects better for yard among the winners.

Very green but showed plenty to work with when fifth of 12 in maiden at Wolverhampton (7.2f) on debut 40 days ago, keeping on once the penny had dropped and not unduly punished. Drops back to 6f but is open to improvement.

Starman gelding offered something to work on when keeping on to finish fourth of 7 in maiden at this C&D on debut 21 days ago, not given a hard time. Likely to improve at some stage and market should reveal whether he's more of a longer-term project.

Showed more than first time up when sixth of 12 in maiden at Wolverhampton (7.2f, 9/1) 40 days ago, no extra final furlong. Hollie Doyle takes over for this return to sprinting but remains to be seen if he can improve on modest form.

Lightning Spear filly from a family the yard know well. Fared little better than on debut 125/1, seventh of 10 in maiden at Catterick (7f, good to soft) 12 days ago. One to note for handicaps over further.

Mohaather filly has some quality in her pedigree and showed promise amid greenness when second of 7 in novice at Goodwood (6f, good to firm, 11/1) on debut 18 days ago, running on behind an improved favourite. Has solid claims to go one better here.

18,000 gns yearling, Starman filly. Half-sister to numerous winners, including smart winner up to 7f Dance Fever and useful Risk Adjusted (2-y-o 5f winner). Dam 7f winner (including at 2 yrs) who stayed 1¼m. Bred to make an impact as a juvenile and one to note if supported on debut.

Once-raced Paranjape and newcomer South Coast Star are worth noting for support.
