Has shown useful form in handicaps and bounced back to form after 3 months off when third at Yarmouth last month, doing well to get as close as he did under the circumstances (raced freely and denied a run). Shortlist material.
Scored at Ayr in July and proved at least as good as ever when runner-up back over that C&D in September. Not disgraced back on fast ground both starts since and will find these conditions more suitable.
Dual winner as a juvenile in 2022 and whilst winless since, he's confirmed he remains capable of useful form having been re-united with Charlie Hills this year, creditable fourth of 12 in handicap at Goodwood (8f, good, 8/1) 31 days ago, not ideally placed. In the mix.
Winner of a listed event at Saint-Cloud in March 2024, but it's been a struggle this year, including back in handicap company at Newmarket 3 weeks ago. Headgear back on.
Too Darn Hot colt who landed the odds in 1m Ffos Las maiden in July and backed it up with good efforts in big-field handicaps at Goodwood and Ascot. Unraced on ground this testing but he's one of the least exposed.
Arrives in good form but has been running in sellers of late and may find this a bit too competitive off his current mark.
Resumed winning ways with a comfortable victory in 11-runner handicap at Haydock (7f, good to firm) last month. However, disappointed at Goodwood since and needs to bounce back.
Has certainly made up for lost time this season, winning a pair of 1m Pontefract handicaps in July. Completed a hat-trick back from a break at Ascot last month and remains of plenty of interest.
Winner on heavy ground at Carlisle in July. Disappointed on AW next 2 starts but has conditions to suit back from a break on his return to turf.
Only has a maiden win to his name but has been highly tried at times and as a result, has struggled to make a significant impact in handicaps. Unraced on going softer than good. Visor on 1st time.
Back on scoreboard when landing 9-runner handicap at Windsor last month and shaped as if still in good form when fourth at Nottingham, seemingly just undone by a combination of early exuberance and a mark that's as high as it's ever been.
Pair of C&D wins on fast ground earlier in the season and resumed winning ways when holding off 15 rivals in game fashion at York last month. However, not in same form there 2 weeks ago and testing ground is a concern.
Failed to kick on after winning at York in June and recent run there 2 weeks ago was particularly poor.
Not the most straightforward and only fifth of 6 in seller at Newcastle (8f) 8 days ago. Twice a winner on heavy ground here but that was a while ago now.

Forecasts
High Degree (15/8), Valvano (7/2), Galeron (15/2), Look Back Smiling (10/1), Desperate Dan (11/1), Ata Rangi (14/1), Theoryofeverything (16/1), Empirestateofmind (16/1), Walsingham (16/1), Chic Colombine (20/1), Sheriff's Court (22/1), Canvas (28/1), Titian (40/1), Intrusively (50/1)
VALVANO is threatening to come good soon and a strongly-run 1m on testing ground could be ideal. The thriving Walsingham is an obvious threat and remains fresh for this time of year, while his stablemate Theoryofeverything has conditions to suit back down in class.
