Dream Ahead gelding who was still green on the back of his debut fifth but again left the impression there's a good deal more to come once he figures things out when ninth of 16 in novice at Thirsk (6f, good to soft) 42 days ago. Interesting type for handicaps after this.
Sands of Mali colt who made a promising start when runner-up in a Leicester maiden (7f) in September. Never figured in a race run at a crawl when last of 5 in maiden at Newmarket (7f, good, 7/2) 14 days ago but he's well worth another chance to get back on the up here.
Foaled March 11. 22,000 gns yearling, €30,000 2-y-o, Ardad gelding. Dam 1m winner who stayed 1¼m.
Foaled May 17. £7,000 yearling, Golden Horn gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including winner up to 1m Statuario and 1¼m-2¼m winner Arabescato. Pedigree suggests he'll be one for longer trips further down the line.
Foaled May 9. Cable Bay gelding. Brother to 1m/9f winner Milteye and half-brother to useful 7f-1m winner Yanifer. Dam, maiden (best effort at 8.5f), closely related to smart winner up to 1m Emmaus. Market can prove a useful guide on debut.
Foaled April 19. 10,000 gns yearling, Galileo Gold colt. Dam once-raced half-sister to very smart winner up to 14.6f Encke out of very smart 1¼m-1½m winner Shawanda. Market can point the way on debut.
Expert Eye colt who found the penny dropping late on when staying on for fifth on debut at Kempton (6f) 17 days ago. Far too inexperienced when down the field in Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar (6f) since and he certainly remains with potential returned to calmer waters.
Twice-raced colt who ran to a similar level as on debut when fourth of 8 in novice (10/1) at Southwell (7.1f) 15 days ago, not quicken final 1f. Nurseries promise to be more his bag on the back of this.
Foaled April 30. 21,000 gns yearling, Zoustar filly. Sister to French 6f-10.7f winner Agoria. Dam, Irish/US 5.5f-7f winner, closely related to smart winner up to 1¾m (stayed 16.5f) Battle of Marathon.
Lightning Spear filly. 28/1, twelfth of 13 in novice at Southwell (7.1f) on debut 11 days ago, always behind. Another likely longer-term project on that evidence.

Forecasts
Sierra Sands (6/5), Mystical Eye (10/3), Eagle Bay (6/1), Galileo Blue (8/1), Deep Sleep (12/1), Wagyu Star (16/1), Uncle Nader (18/1), This Rib (22/1), West Sleekburn Lad (66/1), Lilykoy (125/1)
It's probably best to judge SIERRA SANDS on his Leicester debut second, given he was held up in a very slowly-run affair at Newmarket 2 weeks ago and he's worth another chance back in calmer waters. Mystical Eye is best not judged on his latest run either and he remains capable of better. Eagle Bay and Galileo Blue are a couple of the newcomers to note. Deep Sleep is one to keep onside longer-term, too.
