Ninth of 11 in handicap at Thirsk (7f, soft, 28/1) 24 days ago, missing break. Remains 3 lb above last winning mark and it's probably best to look elsewhere.
C&D winner. Creditable third of 9 in handicap (18/1) at Hamilton (8.3f, good to soft) 10 days ago, running on. Now 2 lb lower and he's high on the shortlist. One of 2 runners for the Jim Goldie yard (Uncle Liam being the other).
Seventh of 14 in handicap at this course (7.2f, good to soft, 25/1) 21 days ago. Others make more appeal.
Didn't need to improve to win 7-runner handicap (9/4) at Musselburgh (9f, good to firm) 62 days ago, slowly away. 2 lb nudge fair enough, but more will be needed if he's to complete the hat-trick.
Twenty-seven runs since last win in 2023. 12/1, fifth of 7 in handicap at Hamilton (9.2f, good to soft) 18 days ago. Has slipped to a dangerous mark and this 7-y-o is not discounted.
5/1 and hooded for 1st time, creditable fourth of 11 in handicap at Redcar (7f, good) 15 days ago, nearest finish. Live each-way chance. Yard also saddles Oilisa.
Unreliable type. C&D winner. Latest success at Musselburgh last month. 8/1, eleventh of 12 in handicap at the same course (7.1f, soft) 8 days ago. Opposable on the back of that low-key display.
Nineteen runs since last win in 2024. Creditable third of 9 in handicap (10/1) at Hamilton (8.3f, good to soft) 17 days ago. Visor back on and he could have a part to play.
Course winner. 6/1, fifth of 7 in handicap at Musselburgh (14f, soft) 8 days ago. Significantly back down in trip and others make more appeal from a win point of view.
Fifteen runs since last win in 2024. Very good second of 9 in handicap at Hamilton (8.3f, good to soft, 14/1) 17 days ago. Not taken lightly.
18/1, very good second of 9 in handicap at this C&D (soft) 20 days ago. Now 0-8, but likely to be on the premises once again.
13/2, fifth of 8 in handicap at Newcastle (7.1f) 9 days ago. Previously shaped well in handicaps at Catterick and Beverley, and she needs considering back on turf.

Forecasts
Oilisa (3/1), Cavallo Pazzo (16/5), Uncle Liam (11/2), Electric Lightning (15/2), Zebra Star (11/1), Harswell Duke (12/1), Young Fire (14/1), Shine On Brendan (14/1), Falcon Nine (16/1), Golden Valour (20/1), Obee Jo (25/1), Broken Spear (33/1)
OILISA's latest effort at Newcastle was nothing to write home about, but she is of interest returned to turf based on the promise she showed at Catterick and Beverley prior to that. The lightly-raced filly shades preference ahead of Shine On Brendan and Obee Jo, both of whom performed with credit at Hamilton recently. The former's stablemate Uncle Liam has been threatening to come good of late and he also has claims, along with several others in this competitive heat.
