Quirky course winner. Started out for the O'Meara yard in good form but more recent efforts have been underwhelming, albeit he did meet trouble here last time. Has plenty of class for the grade but not one for maximum faith.
Twenty five runs since last win in 2023. Bit below form when sixth of 10 in handicap at Kempton (7f, 33/1) 10 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.
Front-runner who is a C&D winner. Arrives in form after 7f wins at Southwell and Thirsk in recent starts. Should go well again.
Resumed from 6 months off with a good third in handicap at Newbury (7f, good) in April. Not so good at Doncaster 5 months later but could strip fitter for the run and has a less exposed profile than most of these.
Blinkered first time, career best when easily winning 6-runner novice (evens) at Epsom (7f, soft) last September. Not seen since but potentially significant that top stable has persevered. No blinkers this time.
C&D winner in April. Off 4 months, may have needed run when eighth of 11 in handicap at Haydock (7f, good, 33/1) 8 days ago.
Took his recent to 2-3 when adding to Redcar maiden success in a C&D novice last month. Opening mark no gimme but has the obvious potential for better.
Course winner. 5/1, career best when winning 13-runner handicap at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) 14 days ago. Should remain very competitive off 4 lb higher.
Last of 11 in handicap (22/1) at Haydock (7f, good) 8 days ago. First-time blinkers need to make a difference.
AW win last November but down the field in 2 handicaps this year, leaving Charlie Appleby in between.
Ended the summer with 2 solid efforts but his run of good form came to a halt when eighth of 12 at Ayr (7f, soft) 14 days ago.

Forecasts
Spell Master (7/2), Sword (7/2), Monsieur Bondy (5/1), Bold Impact (11/2), Master Richard (15/2), Aramis Grey (9/1), Daring Legend (9/1), The Turpinator (12/1), Silent Move (33/1), Arctic Voyage (40/1), Present Times (66/1)
Possibly best to focus on the 3-y-os, with SPELL MASTER taken to find this easier than the Class 2 3-y-o only race he contested at the Doncaster St Leger meeting on his recent return from a break. Monsieur Bondy could easily have more to offer now switching to handicap company on the back of maiden/novice wins. It'll also be interesting to see what the betting makes of the returning Bold Impact.
