Off time: 15:38 | Winning time: 4m 21.70s

Banksman⁸⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: M Goldstein| T: Miss S West

80/1

Modest Flat winner at up to 1m for Jack Channon. Sheena West is no stranger to hurdle success with recruits from the same source but this one might be best watched at the first attempt.

Bouboule^b1¹¹

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: J J Slevin| T: Harry Derham

15/2

Fair maiden on the Flat. Offered something to work on when fourth of 9 on C&D hurdle debut (good to firm) 11 days ago. The cheekpieces worn on that occasion are replaced by first-time blinkers. Open to progress.

Form: 4

Flagon Dry^b³²

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: James Bowen| T: W Greatrex

25/1

Fair at best on Flat (stays 11.5f). Makes hurdle debut fitted with the blinkers he wore for the first time on the Flat last time.

Form:

Manyana Blue^h²⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Luke Scott⁽³⁾| T: Dr R Newland| OR: 104

16/5

Fair maiden on Flat who has taken well to hurdling, placing 3 times before making all at Newton Abbot (good to soft) last month. Good second under a penalty there since. Looks sure to give her running again.

Form: 33212

Spuddling¹¹

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Kimber| T: Kathy Turner

4/1

Modest 11.5f Flat winner who showed an aptitude for hurdling when third over C&D (good to firm) 11 days ago, with the reopposing Bouboule just under 2 lengths behind in fourth. Open to improvement.

Form: 3

The Bellhop¹⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Caoilin Quinn| T: G & J Moore

Fair maiden on the Flat. Stable no stranger to success in this race and interesting to see what the betting makes of him.

Form:

Yellow Card²⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: S Bowen| T: M Bowen

5/2

Fairly useful winner at 1½m on the Flat for Ollie Sangster. 6/1, blundered and unseated second on Newton Abbot hurdle debut 24 days ago.

Forecasts

Yellow Card (5/2), Manyana Blue (16/5), The Bellhop (10/3), Spuddling (4/1), Bouboule (15/2), Flagon Dry (25/1), Banksman (80/1)

SPUDDLING is taken to confirm recent C&D superiority over Bouboule and strike at the second time of asking over hurdles. Harry Derham's charge may give him most to do ahead of the consistent Manyana Blue.
