Mad Maxios^t¹⁸¹

Age: 4| Weight: 12-0| J: Paul O'Brien| T: Harry Derham| OR: 103

8/1

Steadily progressive in 3 wins over hurdles last season, albeit fortunate when winning 4-runner junior event at Chepstow on final outing, left in front approaching last. Remains unexposed but has been handed a stiff looking mark.

Motazzen^p³⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-10| J: Brendan Powell| T: Miss H C Knight| OR: 98| CD

7/2

Completed a hat-trick over hurdles at Southwell on New Year's Day and caused a surprise when getting the better of a trio of fancied 3-y-os back on the Flat there in August prior to having winning run ended at Lingfield. Returns to hurdling on an appreciably higher mark now and more will be needed.

Form: 604111-

As Fast As Wind²⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-9| J: Robbie David⁽⁷⁾| T: Daisy Hitchins| OR: 97

13/2

Showed an aptitude for hurdling last season, settling better in a soundly-run race when second at Taunton (16.5f) in January. Off the mark on the Flat (fair form) at Salisbury in August and merits consideration back in this sphere.

Form: 79652-

Miss Kassiopi¹⁰⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-9| J: G Sheehan| T: R Bandey| OR: 97

9/1

Produced her best effort to date when runner-up on her Stratford handicap debut in March but has been well below form both starts this term. First run for yard after leaving Danni O'Neill.

Form: 3252-68

Jorebel¹¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: Freddie Gordon⁽³⁾| T: C Gordon| OR: 89| CD

1/1

Improved again when off the mark in 8-runner handicap hurdle over C&D (good to firm) 11 days ago, getting back up late after rider had eased prematurely final 1f (value for more like 3-length win). Looks capable of following up from the same mark.

Form: 74043-1

It's Life³

Age: 3| Weight: 10-2| J: Harry Kimber| T: Kathy Turner| OR: 86

20/1

Just poor form over hurdles to date and again raced lazily on the Flat at Bath 3 days ago.

Form: 3456

Forecasts

Jorebel (1/1), Motazzen (7/2), As Fast As Wind (13/2), Mad Maxios (8/1), Miss Kassiopi (9/1), It's Life (20/1)

JOREBEL was value for more than the winning margin over C&D 11 days ago and is a straightforward choice to follow up from the same mark for an in-form stable. As Fast As Wind, a winner on the Flat since last seen over hurdles, is second choice.
