SPY did the job well when belatedly opening his hurdles account at Killarney where he quickened nicely to see off the re-opposing Come On The Lads and six others. A 6 lb rise for that doesn't look harsh and he gets the nod ahead of Sequoiaspirit and Serienmond, who looks the pick of the Gavin Cromwell-trained trio, for all that his aforementioned stablemate Come On The Lads is holding his form well and should give another good account.
