Plenty of quality in his pedigree and showed much improved form on second career start to win an 8-runner maiden at Ffos Las (7.4f, heavy, 4/1) 16 days ago, staying on well in testing conditions (pulled clear with runner-up). Carries a penalty for that victory but entitled to improve again.
Well-positioned given the emphasis on speed but looked potentially useful when making a winning debut in a 10-runner maiden (17/2) at Haydock (7f, good) 21 days ago, asserting readily. In excellent hands and has plenty of scope to improve. Looks the one to beat under a penalty.
€52,000 breeze-up purchase by Calyx. Was carrying plenty of condition when last of 13 in a valuable maiden at York (7f, good to firm, 50/1) on debut 34 days ago. In much calmer waters on all-weather debut but could prove one for the longer-term.
Earthlight colt. Half-brother to useful 1m/9f winner Elnajmm. Dam, 7f winner, sister to very smart winner up to 1m Lucky Nine. One to note for support on debut given connections.
€60,000 yearling, Blue Point colt. Closely related to winner abroad by Earthlight and half-brother to 2-y-o 6.5f winner Mottrib. Wears hood for debut. Bred to make an impact as a juvenile and one to be interested in if supported.
Only showed greenness when (80/1) last of 11 in novice at Thirsk (8f, good) on debut 27 days ago, very slowly away. Likely to need more time.
€3,500 yearling, Soldier's Call gelding. Dam 6f winner who stayed 1m out of useful 7f/1m winner Magic Eye. Inexpensive purchase is likely to be an outsider on debut.
Maxfield filly. Half-sister to minor US winner by Nyquist. Dam US winner up to 8.5f (Grade 3 event, and 2-y-o 7f winner). Not without hope on paper but yard typically don't have many debut winners. That trend likely to continue unless market suggests otherwise.
Bated Breath filly. Sister to useful 2-y-o 1m winner Batz and half-sister to smart 1½m/12.4f winner Plage de Havre and 1¼m-16.5f winner Papa Ricco. Makes appeal on pedigree and yard have had some success with newcomers this month. Worth a market check.

Tiger Power (11/8), Malachy's Wish (4/1), Menwirr (9/2), Power For Power (11/2), Ephron (7/1), Borjina (14/1), Harswell Angel (80/1), Regal Knight (125/1), Project Kinsman (125/1)
TIGER POWER looked a potentially useful prospect when readily winning on debut earlier this month and he can defy a penalty to make it back-to-back victories. Malachy's Wish was much improved when successful at Ffos Las on his second start and could prove the main danger, although there are a few interesting newcomers who should be noted for support, notably Power for Power who is bred to make an impact as juvenile.
