ICE IN THE VEINS made a complete mess of the last when looking all over the winner on his C&D hurdling debut in June and retains plenty of potential, not least based on his strong-travelling bumper success at Worcester, so he's well worth the chance to make amends. Beau Quali, a stablemate of the selection, is more exposed but sets the standard, while there should be more to come from Stratford-scorer Hamlet's Night being a fairly useful performer on the Flat who's in excellent hands.
