Two hurdle wins for Fergal O'Brien in 2024. Rejoined former yard ahead of his return to the Flat and ran respectably when sixth of 13 in handicap at Windsor (28/1) 14 days ago. Should come on for that run but overall record on all-weather makes him vulnerable for win purposes.

Maiden was twice a runner-up in similar contests earlier this season. Finished fifth of 9 in AW handicap at Kempton (4/1) 17 days ago running respectably back down in trip. Can be competitive on the best of his form.
Six-time winner who was below form when last seen finishing fifth of 10 in handicap at Chelmsford City (5/1) on final run for Roger Teal 459 days ago (headgear now removed). Has gone well fresh but hard to be confident after lengthy absence prior to first start for new trainer.

Three consecutive handicap wins since being refitted with headgear, including a 12f handicap at Chepstow 73 days ago. Forgiven latest fifth of 7 in 13f handicap at Bath (3/1) 37 days ago when dwelt at the start and never involved. Proven on AW and should be more competitive here.
Has been largely consistent this season barring a blip on softer ground at Yarmouth. Ran respectably but no excuses fifth of 6 in 12f handicap at Lingfield (12/1) 18 days ago, having been given an easy lead. Could make more of an impact down in grade.
Showed a bit in novices but offered little on handicap debut when 7th of 8 at this track (28/1) 20 days ago. Improvement needed now stepping up significantly in trip.
Made most of a drop in grade to win at Southwell in February. Not in the same form subsequently but is capable of holding his own in this grade if the market suggests he's ready to roll following 6 months off.
C&D winner won 12f handicap at Lingfield (4/1) 49 days ago before finishing fifth of 10 in handicap at this C&D (3/1) 20 days ago, beating more runners than beat him despite helping set strong pace. Upped in grade here but arrives in good heart.

Plenty of pace on paper but well-bred PERGOLA appeals most having got back on track when runner-up at Windsor last month and she may yet prove to better than this sort of mark given connections. Trojan Truth had been in the form of his life prior to a forgivable effort at Bath, and he's respected on return to the AW while Neoma may make more of an impact down in grade.
