Better than ever when second is a strong handicap at the Curragh (1m) in May. Not in the same form (well-backed) at Leopardstown last month prior to unseating soon after the start there 9 days ago. Down in grade and on a handy mark if headgear has the desired effect back over 7f.

Unlucky not to win a 5f handicap at Dundalk in March but not in same form with cheekpieces on for first time, sixth of 8 in handicap (9/2) at Cork (5f, good). Goes without headgear and will need to improve for this significantly longer trip on her return.

Arrives in form, third of 12 in a stronger handicap at Roscommon (7.4f, good to soft) 21 days ago, made rapid headway 2f out and fared best of those held up. Should give a good account back against her own sex off a 2 lb lower mark.

Off the mark when winning 11-runner maiden (3/1) at Naas (1m, good) in June. That form has taken a few knocks and he was too free on handicap debut when fifteenth of 20 in handicap at Leopardstown (8f, good) 9 days ago. Return to 7f may help but has a bit to find on bare form.

Winner at Limerick in June and still in good heart when creditable fifth of 10 in handicap at Leopardstown (8f, good) 32 days ago, undone by a rise in the weights. Back over 7f and may still be competitive off 3 lb lower under a good-value 7 lb apprentice.

Twice runner-up in big-field handicaps this season, latest in a 20-runner handicap at Leopardstown (8f, good, 40/1) 9 days ago, having been suited by way race developed. Respected on that form but slow starts remain a consideration.

Cosy winner of a C&D maiden last season. Shaped with promise in a higher grade C&D handicap in July and back to form when second of 12 in handicap at Roscommon (7.5f, good) 34 days ago. Interesting on the best of her form.

Won a 9-runner handicap at Gowran Park (7f) in June but raced too close to the pace in a well-run affair when last of 10 in handicap at the Curragh (8f, soft, 4/1) 64 days ago. May well bounce back following a break (yard also saddle Greatest Drama).

Naas maiden winner shaped with promise on second start in handicap company but failed to justify support with cheekpieces on for first time when ninth of 13 in handicap at the Curragh (6f, good) in May. Worth another go at 7f and too soon to write off given connections.

Creditable third on handicap debut but below par when twelfth of 15 in handicap at Galway (7f, good to soft) 56 days ago. Tongue strap on first time following a short break and market should guide expectations with yard also saddling Miracle Beauty.

Course winner has won 3 times this season and ran her best race to date when close third of 9 in handicap at Bellewstown (5f, good) 27 days ago. Interesting off a 2 lb lower mark and has shaped with promise over this longer trip previously.

Latest win at Listowel in June and back to form with a career-best when second of 16 in handicap at Naas (7f, good to soft) 49 days ago, only collared in the dying strides. Back up in grade but respected off an unchanged mark.

Forecasts

Greatest Drama (5/1), Anvika (6/1), Rion Rubette (6/1), Luscious (6/1), Declaree (13/2), Serialise (7/1), Four Blondes (11/1), White Clover (12/1), Miracle Beauty (14/1), Aurora Nova (14/1), Honeysuckle Rose (14/1), Beauty Queen (40/1)

Verdict

Plenty in with a chance but course winner AURORA NOVA has already won three times this season and was better than ever when a close third last month. She gets the vote back over 7f with C&D winner Four Blondes feared most having ran well in better company this season, while White Clover went close off this mark at Naas last time and should go well again. Serialise was second in a strong Curragh handicap in May and could be interesting if revitalised by headgear and a drop in class.
