Though WHATS NEW hasn't achieved quite as high a rating on the Flat as a couple of these, his recent breakthrough success in that sphere suggested that he's still progressing and he performed to a decent level on hurdles debut at Killarney where he looked booked for second when falling at the final flight. Desmond Castle and Ranting And Raven are both of interest now switched to hurdles and they may emerge as the main dangers ahead of the penalised pair Hopes Are High and Something Noble.
