Starspangledbanner colt who showed promise when runner-up on debut at Hamilton (6f) last month and duly built on that when taking 13-runner novice at Thirsk (7f, good, 10/3) 36 days ago, making all and in command entering final 1f. Very much respected under a penalty.
Foaled April 13. Frankel colt. Brother to useful 2-y-o 1m winner Latest Generation and half-brother to useful 2-y-o 7f winner Daneh and 1¼m winner Muhaajim. Appeals on paper for stable who have been amongst the winners so worth noting if market vibes prove positive.
200,000 gns yearling, Teofilo colt who was found wanting for know-how for the most part but found the penny dropping late when sixth of 9 in novice at Haydock (8f, good) on debut 16 days ago, some progress without being knocked about. In top hands and he's sure to improve.

Foaled April 12. €70,000 yearling, €320,000 2-y-o, Wootton Bassett colt. Half-brother to several winners, including useful winner up to 1m Sarrocchi and useful 9f/1¼m winner Talbeyah. Dam 7f/1m winner (including at 2 yrs). Noteworthy newcomer.
Cotai Glory colt who fared best of the newcomers in a big-field York maiden (6f) in July and he again shaped well when finishing sixth in Convivial maiden back at that track/trip (impressing with how he travelled). Very much the type to progress further, particularly at 3 yrs.
Foaled March 23. €54,000 foal, £100,000 yearling, Supremacy colt. Dam, 6f winner, half-sister to useful 1m-11f winner Eftiraath. Wears tongue strap for debut and the betting can likely prove a useful guide.
Foaled April 18. €20,000 yearling, Elzaam filly. Half-sister to winner up to 7f Mctenett. Dam, 7f winner, half-sister to winner up to 6f Shamshon and winner up to 1m Boerhan (both useful). Another requiring a market check on racecourse bow.

Forecasts
Nobody Knows (5/4), Hasbro Market (9/2), Arabian Desert (11/2), Red Spells Danger (13/2), Galilean Quality (8/1), Rockafeller Skank (11/1), Positive Thoughts (33/1)
An interesting novice despite the small field with HASBRO MARKET selected to concede weight all round and come out on top. David O'Meara's colt built on his promising debut effort when running out a commanding winner at Thirsk 5 weeks ago and the manner of that victory suggests there's a good deal more to come. Red Spells Danger has made a bright start to his career and feared most of those with experience. Arabian Desert and Nobody Knows are a couple of the debutants to note.
