Performer over 11.9f who was narrowly beaten in July before winning a 6-runner handicap at Leicester (4/1) 47 days ago, making all and just holding on. Beat two subsequent winners that day and could prove dangerous if handling this different test.

Three-time Brighton winner including once over this C&D. Won 7-runner handicap over 10f at this track (13/2) 27 days ago, staying on strongly to lead in the final half-furlong and draw clear. Has proven form over this longer trip and conditions no problem. Solid claims.
Ran well at Brighton with second and third in C&D handicaps recently but finished last of 11 in handicap at Epsom (22/1) 4 days ago, always behind. Course form gives hope for better showing.
Won a 10f conditions race here (5/1) 38 days ago but found things tougher back in a handicap, finished sixth of 9 in a handicap over 8f (9/2) here 14 days ago. Bit to prove upped markedly in trip.
Has been in good form recently with two runner-up efforts before winning at Brighton over 11.9f (7/2) 27 days ago, making headway to lead entering the final furlong. Course and distance winner who's found form again after a mid-season break and should remain competitive.
Better over shorter trips, creditable third of 9 at Brighton (8f) 14 days ago (14/1) but that was a weak race. Visor replaces blinkers but previously struggled over this C&D.
Has been brought along steadily in novice company. Now makes handicap debut over a longer trip in first-time cheekpieces and could be the type to do better for shrewd connections.
Won over this course and distance 39 days ago, having improved for the step up in trip (Fighting Poet back in third won next time). Not in the same form on the all-weather last time but previous course form looks solid. Merits respect back in a handicap.
From a good yard and ran best race to date when fourth of 12 in conditions race at Lingfield (AW) 20 days ago (7/1) wearing tongue strap first time (retained). Interesting if she can build on that back on turf.

Irezumi (10/3), Ricardo Phillips (9/2), Foinix (6/1), Both Of Us (13/2), Silk And Steel (13/2), Zaeim Alharb (7/1), Fighting Poet (17/2), Celebrating Ethel (12/1), Headshot (25/1), Fornido (33/1)
SILK AND STEEL posted his best effort to date when successful over C&D last month and may be able to make it 2-2 at this track. Potential pacesetter Ricardo Phillips beat a pair of next time out winners at Leicester last time and could prove dangerous if coping with this different test. Zaeim Alharb represents shrewd connections and could be interesting if handling conditions on his handicap debut, while 3-time course winner Fighting Poet won't be inconvenienced should the ground become testing.
