Ran one of his lesser races when ninth of 11 in handicap at Southwell (12.1f, 6/1) 28 days ago. Blinkers on for 1st time and is the type to bounce back quickly.
Ended losing run in handicap over 1¼m at Salisbury in July but was seen to maximum effect that day and has been disappointing both outings since, racing freely under a change of tactics last time.
Lightly-raced 4-y-o who found a bit of improvement hooded for the first time when third of 8 in handicap at this C&D (firm) 29 days ago. Connections seemingly finding the key to him and merits respect.
Latest win at Southwell in April and has run right up to his best on his last 2 turf outings. Should remain competitive.
Scored for the first time on turf/in handicap company at Newbury in July and has run creditably all 3 outings since, including behind a thrown-in one at Haydock latest. Seems sure to go well again.
Improved to get off the mark in 8-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 12 days ago, suited by emphasis on speed back up in trip. Yard going well and respected from 4 lb higher as a last-time-out winner.
Back on the up when scoring over C&D in July and ran at least as well in defeat when fourth of 14 at Newcastle (10.2f) since, nearest finish. Should remain competitive.
Finally got back on the up when winning 8-runner handicap at Epsom (10.1f, good to firm) 20 days ago. The margin of victory probably flatters him somewhat but he's still likely to run well again.
Shaped with plenty of promise when fifth of 12 in a Newbury maiden on his debut, but has been well below that level both starts subsequently. Switches to a handicap now and needs to get back on track.
Failed to find further progression when sixth of 13 in maiden at Ffos Las (8f, good) 67 days ago. Up in trip for handicap debut and may have more to offer for a yard that continues in excellent heart. Has been gelded.
Won a handicap at Ffos Las last summer and held form well since. Excuses at Newcastle (10.2f) on most recent outing, meeting trouble. Not dismissed despite being 1 lb out of the weights.

Forecasts
Bluecoltrane (7/2), Stormy Monday (4/1), Telepathic (4/1), Arbitration (13/2), His Finest Hour (13/2), Forest Caper (15/2), Lola Moon (18/1), Papagei (22/1), Crystal Mariner (25/1), Patrol (25/1), Solar Bentley (25/1)
HIS FINEST HOUR is holding his form well and, having found only a potentially thrown-in one too good at Haydock, he shades the vote. Connections seem to be finding the key to lightly-raced 4-y-o Forest Caper, so he merits respect, along with Solar Bentley, a consistent sort who had excuses for a rare below-par effort at Newcastle last time.
