Much improved from debut when winning a 10-runner novice at Salisbury in July and found his work cut out trying to concede a penalty to a useful rival there last month. Back up in trip for nursery debut.
Sent off odds-on both times when winning maiden and minor event at up to 6f at Chester in May but perhaps had his limitations exposed when 12 lengths fifth of 6 to Time To Turn in listed race at Ascot (7f, good) 48 days ago. Makes nursery debut.
Progressive form across his qualifying runs, making his third start a winning one at Catterick (7f, good to firm) 37 days ago. Bare form of that is nothing special but he's going in the right direction.
Clearly highly though of (entered in Dewhurst Stakes) and has improved with each run to date, unlocking more improvement stepped up to this trip when second of 10 in novice at Newbury (7f, 4/1) 26 days ago. Opening mark looks workable and he's a player.
Very much going the right way and found only another unexposed rival too strong when a clear second of 7 in maiden at Chepstow (7.1f, good to soft) 23 days ago. Shortlist material with opening mark appealing as a shade lenient.
Left debut form behind when second of 10 in maiden at Kempton (6f), looking sharper for the outing and shaping well in defeat to a potentially useful type. Similar form when fifth in a better race on turf upped to 7f and now tackles a nursery having been gelded. Worth market check.
Promising second on 7f Haydock debut. Failed to build on that in 2 following outings but, in a first-time visor, got right back on track when fifth of 18 in nursery at York (7f, good to firm) 21 days ago. Others preferred for win purposes overall, though.
Inexperience was evident but he showed plenty to work when mid-field in a Windsor novice/Newmarket maiden on his first 2 outings. Stepped forward when third at that latter track last time and he looks a sure-fire improver now upped in trip for his nursery bow.
Hadn't threatened on his first 4 outings but showed improved form on his second nursery outing to win a 5-runner event at Sandown (7f, soft) 12 days ago. Conditions perhaps beneficial there and he'll likely need more to threaten in this better race.

Mr Writer (5/2), Wechaad (3/1), Jeddaal (10/3), Special Dividend (5/1), Moonfall (6/1), Reverberate (13/2), Elan D'or (11/1), Gold Dawn (14/1), Tricky Tel (18/1), You Sexy Thing (25/1), Crown Of Light (25/1)
ELAN D'OR has been learning with experience and the step up to 7f looks certain to garner further improvement from Stuart Williams' nursery newcomer. Special Dividend is feared most on the back of a good run in hot company at York, with Jeddaal also appealing as being on an attractive mark on his nursery bow.
