Multiple all-weather winner who showed improved form on just second turf start when bagging 18-runner Derby Italiano at Rome (10.9f, good) in June, suited by step up in trip. That wasn't a strong race for the grade but remains unexposed at the trip and on grass.

Form: 4621

Forecasts

Respond (85/40), Hopewell Rock (3/1), First Principle (7/1), Immediate Effect (15/2), Castle Stuart (17/2), Hot Cash (16/1), Palazzo Blu (16/1), Molveno (18/1), Devil's Advocate (20/1), Wolf Of Badenoch (28/1)

RESPOND has progressed notably well with each start to date and has both the looks and the pedigree to potentially make up into a smart handicapper, so he's of obvious interest from what looks an attractive mark despite being 1 lb out of the weights. Immediate Effect should continue to give a good account, with the unexposed Hopewell Rock and Castle Stuart others to note.
