Poet's Word gelding. 80/1 and tongue strap on for 1st time, eighth of 14 in maiden at the Curragh (8f, good) 76 days ago. Hooded for 1st time. One for handicaps.
Lightly-raced gelding on Flat. Fairly useful winner at 2m over hurdles. 13¼ lengths fourth of 6 to Naturally Nimble in Winter Festival Juvenile Hurdle at Fairyhouse (16.5f, good) in December. Each-way claims on pick of form in this sphere returning from 9 months off.
Won a bumper on debut in February and also made successful switch to hurdling when taking a 15-runner juvenile hurdle (6/4) at Cork (16.3f, soft) in April. Shortlisted on Flat debut.
Expert Eye gelding. Tenth of 13 in maiden at Dundalk (8f, 25/1) on debut. Off 21 months.
Behind a bumper and shaped as if needing run on hurdles bow t Galway (16.8f, good to soft, 40/1) at Galway last month. Hard to fancy.
Fairly useful gelding. Remains a maiden after 12 Flat runs. Respectable sixth of 12 in handicap at Tipperary (12.5f, good to firm, 11/2) 34 days ago. Down in trip. Probably vulnerable to less-exposed types for all peak form gives him a chance.
Fair gelding. Remains a maiden after 7 Flat runs. Eighteenth of 20 in handicap hurdle at Galway (16.6f, good, 40/1) 45 days ago. Will need to improve upon recent hurdling efforts.
Fairly useful gelding. Won over hurdles at Roscommon in July. Remains a maiden after 7 Flat runs. Fourth of 7 in maiden (10/11) at Ballinrobe (12.8f, good to soft) 52 days ago. Down in trip. Player if able to bounce back.
Twice-raced filly on Flat. Third of 12 in juvenile hurdle (7/2) at Ballinrobe (16.3f, good) 107 days ago. Back down in trip. Others make greater appeal.
Twice-raced filly. Last of 14 in claimer at Dundalk (7f, 150/1) 27 days ago. Significantly back up in trip. Hooded for 1st time. Little sign of ability so far.
Thrice-raced filly. 18/1, first run since leaving James Tate when third of 10 in maiden at Dundalk (10.7f) 61 days ago. Place claims again if able to build on that.
Twice-raced filly. Third of 8 in maiden (6/1) at Tramore (12f, good to soft) 26 days ago. Down in trip. Previous form would put her right in the mix.

So Golden (9/4), Rock Of Ireland (9/4), Young Churchill (11/2), Coul Dreamer (15/2), Goldinthevalleys (17/2), Eternal Echo (11/1), Atlantic City (16/1), Qamari (22/1), Space Warrior (25/1), Among The Pines (66/1), Eye Contact (150/1), Native Flag (500/1)
ETERNAL ECHO already had a bumper win to his name prior to making the perfect start over hurdles at Cork in April and looks the one to beat if proving as effective on the Flat. So Golden has been placed on both starts so far and is shortlisted again, with Young Churchill also having enough form in the book to make him of serious consideration here, for all he wasn't quite at his best last time.
- Eternal Echo11/1
- So Golden9/4
- Young Churchill11/2
