340,000 gns No Nay Never colt showed plenty when a close runner-up in a 6f Newmarket July course maiden last month, green early but doing plenty of good work late on. That form looks solid and he should be suited by this step up to 7f. Makes plenty of appeal.

Mehmas colt showed plenty of ability when narrowly failing to land the odds in a 4-runner maiden at Pontefract (6f) 3 weeks ago, ridden positively and showing a good attitude once headed. Is expected to appreciate this step up to 7f and she's still entered in the Group 2 Mill Reef later this month.

82,000 gns yearling, Kodi Bear colt. Half-brother to several winners, including winner up to 8.6f Fox Power and winner up to 6f Needlepoint, both useful. Plenty to like about his pedigree but makes his racecourse debut in a strong-looking maiden.

Night of Thunder colt is bred to be useful and didn't appear to lack for fitness when fifth in a 9-runner Newmarket maiden on debut, finding 7f on the sharp side that day. Surely more to come, especially when stepped up in trip.

€280,000 yearling, Night of Thunder colt. Dam unraced sister to smart winner up to 7f Blue de Vega. Makes appeal on paper for yard who've had a couple of debut winners in recent weeks. Market should prove informative.

€320,000 breeze-up purchase made a promising start to his career when only just denied in a 7f maiden at Musselburgh in July, pulling clear of the rest (winner has since been found out in much better company). Didn't look short of pace that day and he remains with plenty of potential.

Postponed colt. Closely related to useful 7f/1m winner Zeus Olympios. Dam 2-y-o 7f winner. Bred to make an impact as a juvenile but this is a hot race (Yard also saddle fellow newcomer Fozzie).

Ardad filly shaped well when runner-up at Newbury (7f) on debut last month, still looking in need of the experience but catching the eye with how she moved through the race. That form is beginning to work out well and she looks sure to improve second time up. Strong claims.

SECRET HISTORY appeals most having travelled fluently when runner-up behind a well-backed, smart prospect at Newbury on debut, while Crown Office and Delinquent both showed plenty of ability when narrowly-denied on their respective debuts and will appreciate 7f. Expensive breeze-up buy Proud Nation is by no means a back number, having shaped like the best prospect when second at Musselburgh.
